It’s funny to me because there’s no real balance. Why can’t I just be a young player who’s shown some potential and has a lot of learning to do?”
Maybe the most absurd thing I have ever read about Jeremy, anywhere. Lin fans, here's a tip: The Haters don't want Jeremy to succeed and they now have a reason -- and likely a series -- to trash him with. I would suggest not engaging with many of these people. I think many of them don't want to be convinced about Jeremy's worth. They want to vent a bunch of pent-up haterade, and now OKC and Jeremy's poor performance has given them that opportunity. So, you are likely to see a bunch of supposed "honest critiques" and hate masquerading as analysis. Just let it go. If you acknowledge these Haters, you are only encouraging them. It's better to politely nod your head and move along. This isn't the first tough game Lin had against OKC this year and it's probably not his last. There's a reason why OKC is the #1 seed in the West and one of the top 3 teams in the league. Using the Thunder to bash Jeremy is like a gym teacher using Arnold Schwarzenegger to berate a student who is just learning to lift weights. OKC is at the top of the food chain, and Jeremy just played his first playoff game. Let The Haters hate. Soon enough, they will be starving for oxygen as things change for Lin. This is their time. Let them have the stage. It may be their last time in the limelight.
Cool vids Paul. But seriously. Was listening to BBJ, even they were saying Lin looked too nervous. Wasn't looking for the ball.
BBJ? Basketball Jones? Never listened to, or really read, their stuff so can't comment on it. Thanks for the kind words. Lin's shot was off. He faced a great defensive team. It was his first playoff game. It happens. Lin Haters have been waiting for a "prince" to come and rescue them. A #1 seed with a powerful defense should work.
