My take on the Rocket's season so far - with video

hey, DD, it's absolutely excellent job although i have a different opinion on a couple points you made, such as ron. ron hurted his ankle. everyone knows it. you can see ron dragged his legs. as he claimed that he was much better in the last game, i would like to wait to judge him until i know he is completely healthy.

it seems you have a great home just looking at those cabinets. i remember you said once you live somewhere in Austin. am i right? i am living in Cedar Park.

Don't agree with you on Artest. He is just shooting poorly, not nearly as bad a ball stopper as Tmac.

 

Maybe we can make it together. I mean, I can join you throughout the skype.

We actually agree on more things than I thought. We disagree about Artest and to an extent wafer(I'm not "in love" with the guy), but everything else I agree on as far as player personel.

I like your prediction that we will run the table in feb. That would be awesome.

 

One thing that's been bothering me,

Scola is VERY fast for a big man. Athleticism is multifaceted. Scola may not be able to jump high or move with quickness and explosiveness but he is FAST. Very few big men can get down the court as fast as him.

You seem to have a good commentating voice, though. I don't know how many here are good at public speaking.

 

i agree we're always going to disagree or agree on the content, but i think you did a good job presenting it. The only thing i would change is cutting back on info that the average fan already knows and cut back on summarizing the season (but i guess you did that since this is your first video). I'd stick to specific topics, like Battier is a hot one right now. Or trade suggestions, etc.

 

Pretty accurate assessment of the team. Only thing I would suggest is you invest in a backdrop.

 

Carl Landry is 6'7 3/4 without shoes just to help you out there.

 

DD, you've already got a bunch suggestions. clearly fans love your clip. you definitely need to make it a weekly show or a show every other week.

 

Great job DD, I agree with pretty much everything you said accept about Ron and no mention of Wafer's missed assignments on defense.

 

It was a good video indeed but my question is how often are you going to do it?? Once a week?? twice???

 

If everyone on the team played as hard and with the amount of passion that Scola plays at we would have the best team in the league. It wouldn't even be close. Our team is so loaded with talent, we just need Artest and McGrady to buy into the team system of moving the ball around, taking good shots, playing defense.

Take yourself more seriously. You are obviously knowledgeable about the Rockets and have plenty to say. You don't have to do anything to be entertaining but talk.
