Yeah, I'm ready to start breaking stuff. I'll try my best not to believe it until I hear it's true. I really would like Van Gundy or Carlisle and really do not want Dunleavy. I just have the feeling that Van Gundy will cost too much for Les. Especially if the reports that the main issue with Larry Brown was $.

    arggggggggggggggggggh!!!!!!! me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats pretty wicked considering Mark Berman claims Dunleavy's agent told him he was going to contact the Rockets tomorrow and ask if they wanted another interview. Apparently everyone else knows he's the next head coach except... well himself.

If Franics wants Dunleavy, then I want JVG.

Francis is looking for another protector, like Rudy, to let him do his own thing.

1.remember shandon anderson being s&t to the knicks? same thing
2.we own poseys bird rights ,we can threaten to sign him,to bribe other teams to offer more for him,s&T
3.i am the only one that believes this "party" actually happened.,people are to stupid to make this up,so i believe him
4.remember when the rockets collapsed at the end of the season and sometimes scored 60 points, and sucked? Van gundy is notorious for having 60 point games EVERY NIGHT,seriously
5.gundy sucks, and apparently likes to hump mens legs
6.dunleavy is not a rudy clone, rudy couldnt make plays for pippen, dunleavy did

i have lost all respect for most of the van gundy supporters. jvg is so freakin stupid. you thought rudys x's and o's were bad, dont you remember the knicks scoring 60 Every other night even with firepower in ewing, houston, spree, rice?

get a life you dunleavy bashers. now that mark cuban is going to pay don a new contract, better get used to dunleavy.

the reason he was fired three times,is because stupid owners had unreal expectations that dunleavy would take a team of baker/robinson to the finals...its not dunleavys fault magic got aids,or wallace gets technicals....

Oh, I thought the Bucks brass would have been happy with a 35% win clip they didn't get with MD.

    Guys,
Face Reality, The rocks are playin this High and mighty card and being very secretive........they want Dunleavy cheap, so they have to bluff him with the Van Gundy "second interview" or Tour of Houston Thursday.......Its all negotiation tactics. It gives them leverage in the Dunleavy negotiations

They bluff him and make him think he'll end up with a sucky job, because Houston is now definately cream of the crop as far as job availability goes now, come on, do you actually think he wants Atlanta over a Houston job with Yao and Steve???

Atlanta would love him, but he's not crazy about ATL, He would definately take the Houston Job first hands down......Thus Les knows this and is in Bluff mode to get the contract he wants and a decent Coach at the same time.....

Watch when the smoke clears friday, you guys will all see friday, when Van Gundy isn't hired after all this speculation and Front Runner talk......A simple apology is all i want then:D

    When was this "party?"

McDyess lives here I believe. In fact, maybe someone can confirm, but didn't we go after him as a FA before he signed with Pheonix?

Yes we went after McDyess but the Rockets tought that Pippen was a better option so they signed Pippen instead.

Bringing in JVG just to make Dunleavy lower his contract demands would be a pretty scummy thing to do to both persons. No wonder I'm not in business.

It's not likely as I think both are smart enough to recognize that. Plus why would Dunleavy's agent be asking the Rox if they are going to get a second interview?

Another possibility is they are feeding you misinformation, knowing that you will disseminate it, so that it will get back to Van Gundy, and he will get scared and come here for cheap. :)
