The difference this year as I see it, is - they have always been able to keep the "superstars" happy (with the possible exception of Scotty Quitten, but even then he was accomadated, we took our lumps and sent him to a team he wanted to go to). Prior to this occasion any despute was handled relatively quickly and descretely. This prolonged wait ( ... I know in the grand scheme of things it hasn't been that long, but much longer than it should be necessary ... ) may have an effect that will be as destructive as any other "trade scenario" in recent years. It may not have a clear winner. It may have a number of losers. ------------------
