One of those I told you so thread. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
My prediction: Anybody not named Harden and Howard on this team could be traded. There.

Yes, I think he'll get traded along with Asik, come around mid December.

I'm thinking something along the lines of Jeremy Lin & Omer Asik for Evan Turner & Hawes + future pick.

Right, but his confidence was through the roof at that point. It didn't take long after Melo came back for his confidence to wane... at which point he looked like an average pg that opponents hadn't adjusted for yet.

When Anthony Morrow went off for nearly 50pts in back to back games as a rookie, he didn't get nearly as much press.... just saying, leave the Linsanity session in the past where it belongs.

When Melo came back, Lin still played decent, not Linsanity. Lin has to pass the ball to Melo, he couldn't just spam shots like he did before.

See, that's the issue I have. If Lin has the ability, which we all know he does, then he doesn't HAVE to pass the ball to anybody. If he believes it'll lead to better shot selection, sure, but if he's confident in his own ability, he should take it to the rack, again and again. He should do what he thinks will result in baskets, but instead he does mostly what is expected of him which is the line between role player and all star. Some of that fault lies on McHale though.

That's my interpretation of Lin's game. I'm no basketball analyst.

I made my prediction already. Again they wont tamper with there rotational players right now. How do you expect them to compete for a Championship messing up the chemistry there are now forming.

So stand put and just get rid of Asik, maybe DMo and another filler.

I really don't give a **** about his fans and if you care more about the Rockets than the state of the bbs than Lins impact on this team is more important than how many Lin fans are on this bbs. Lin is having a good season and makes our bench pretty darn good. We have an amazing starting line up. Our starting 4 is 21 and looks amazing. We have the right pieces to win a ring. This team just needs to play together. Changing the roster drastically year after year will never allow a team develop true great chemistry.

I like this team. I don't want to mess it up because one of this team's players who is a big contributor to this team's success so far this season has some annoying posters on a message board. Enjoy this team stop b****ing about Lin's fan base. You care about the GARM too much.

This team definitely can win rings currently as constructed.

I agree with you but you have to realize that Lin came from nothing and he can't exactly start demanding the ball and taking shots away from Melo, who is considered a 'superstar' even tho his attitude and leadership does not indicate that status. Lin overall this year has been more aggressive and I think he is gaining confidence in his game and getting comfortable.

Yes, because if you actually use Lin's 4th quarter stats, it contradicts YOUR eye test. Too bad, because your eye test is so damn reputable:rolleyes:

No way anyone trades those players for Lin. Brooks is good on offense but when hes not hitting hes useless. Bev is an awesome defender and decent at the 3. I would love for Love to be on this team but it isnt reasonable. Honestly the core is Harden, Parsons, Dwight, and Lin with Lin being more tradable than the others. I believe Morey has to resist the temptation of making drastic chagnes to the roster so the core can learn to play well with eachother. Like Tony, Duncan, and Ginoboli who all palyed together. Then again they were coached by Pop and Duncan is considered the greatest PF.

Idk Morey will pull something off but I hope Rockets dont get rid of Lin because he is the best point guard on the team
