On above post I meant - Drew was having a hard time against this team. The Blazers for some reason were pressing us a lot. Drew seemed to struggle. I think he hit a shot or two though. Bryce will be okay in the league I think but if we have to deal him, we just have to.

Just though I would mention that Hamilton isn't a rookie. You must be thinking of Venson Hamilton, who is now playing for a foreign team.

First of all, Hamilton is basically a rookie. He only played half a season with Boston 3 years ago. Thats the extent of his NBA experience.

Francis3, since we have two draft picks, I'd take a big man with our early pick (good big men go quick) and I'd take a SF with the later pick. Kenyon Martin for our big man and Demar Johnson for our SF. Both our on Cinnci and both will probably go pro. Johnson is a freshman phenom and Marton is a polished college junior. Johnson is 6'9" and can play the 1,2, 3. Watch him the next time you watch Cinnci.

The Rockets were LUCKY Portland played Denver the night before. Nothing like a tired team to give the illusion of a close game.

Still, the Rockets did better than expected. They're just not on the same level.

Mobley needs to chill. The referrees don't want to see his playground ball and will continue to call him on it until he stops. He really did improve over the offseason. Last year he averaged 1.6 TOs. This year it's all the way up to 2.4! Great job.

I know centers are hard to come by and Cato will be in the league a long time. But if he is what it took for a player like a McDyess or someone of that caliber I would trade him anyway. Cato won't be anything special unless he decides he has something to prove. Like I said, another Robert Horry. Happy with the status quo. Of course, right now we don't have much choice. Dream is hurt and Hamilton is still a work in progress. I call THam a rookie cus at the beginning of the season the sportscasters said our rookies were Thomas and Hamilton. He is close enough to being a rookie I guess.

    Last post here, promise.

Francis3, haha, if Cato starts playing consistently good like he did against Washington Thursday night, I may have to eat a little hay but I will be happy.

Kenny Thomas is doing so well but like you he looks more like a small forward in build to me. Wonder if he will bulk up, move over to the 3 or is fine like he is?

Centers are hard to come by, I agree. I hope Cato will stay interested in improving and being an impact in this league.

Cato would be awesome off the bench... i say if we got rodman in the lineup that w ould seriously bring in some fun. put rodman as as starting 4 and hakeem starting at 5... then that would bring some fire into Cato...either hamilton starts gettin better or we trade him for someone who does the trash job right. get ham learnin to trash talk and start doing the dirty on the court then he'll be perfect just my opinion
