Sorry, but if you pay 30k for a MB C320, instead of the same price for an Infiniti G35, or an Acura, you're a straight up fool. Check out the latest JD Power stats: Infiniti #2, barely behind Lexus; MB down there significantly. There has been a SERIOUS & widely acknowledged dropoff in MB quality since the Chrysler merger. Maybe they still put in the effort in the G & S-classes, but the C, E, & M's have some bad quality control issues right now. Infiniti G35 or the Acura are good, quality bets. Don't become just another cow in the herd & get fooled by MB "prestige." They have done nothing to earn that prestige in their sub-$60K cars in years.
Thanks for the suggestion. Problem is that the cheaper MB is RWD. Same problem I have with the BMW and the Infiniti G35. I live in Chicago and love this city, but it's just not smart to drive around here in a RWD car. I actually saw a really nice BMW advertised at a great price. If I can get out of the office before the dealership closes, I may write a check tonight.
