F.D., go with the CLK 500.

I had a CLK 430 and that ride was nice.

SWEET!! Who is your builder? Perry does a TON of townhomes in that area (my company supplies all the concrete reinforcement for the slab).

Sorry Man, I don't have a lot of money like you :D Just joking!

Or at least enough to spend 200K on a Mercedes. I simply would refuse to spend that much on a Mercedes. That is when you go EXOTIC. Head straight for the 360 Modena or a 550 Maranello.

    Drew,

I'm building them myself. My father has done numerous commercial building and some residential and is helping me out. The specific unit is a two-town house setup with each one about 3500 square feet. One is going to my brother at cost as a wedding present, the other is what i'll live in till someone offers me 200k more than cost!! Then me and tigereye can look at MB SLR's! Perry, and other home companies eat that 30%-40% profit margin that I wish to make by selling it on the market.

This project is a win-win situation for me because one unit is already sold to my brother ( I get a percentage of the profits when he sells it ) and the other I can simply live in till I sell it. So even if the real estate markets CRASHES, which it vvveeerrrryyyyy easily could, my bases are covered.

Thats the way to go seriously. Those buliders GOUGE the costs big time. Thats why there are thousands and thousands of builders in Houston (that and the constant sprawl of homes). Did you use a conventional rebar slab or post-tension? We sell both, but our bread and butter is p-t. HDQ obviously is in H-town, but we have offices across the nation. Im hoping to relocate in a few years.

You ever been to Miami?!?!? Girl to (straight) Guy ratio there is like 3:1 I hear. And I hear its a dogfight when girls (not the money grubbing kind) find a decent man thats not gay and has his head on straight.

Please go with the Lexus F.D. I love that car - if I was going to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a ride, that would be what I would get. It's just big enough for a golf road trip for two, it looks sweet, and you get the convertible without the rag top.

    SC 430 baby!

That looks like a cross between a late 80s Chevy Astro Minivan and a postal vehicle. When you mix two of the ugliest vehicles of all time together, you get something truly revolting. Ladies and gentlemen, the Toyota Scion.

No dudes youve got it all wrong. Scion is a new division of the Toyota brand like Lexus is a division of them too. Lexus is the luxery division of Toyota. Scion is geared to be the division for young people and managable prices. Look for more Scion vehicles to debut soon.

Uhh, I don't know where you heard this, but Miami has got to be one of the absolute worst places on Earth to meet a good girl. 3:1 ratio is pure BS.

It's like any city in that if you live in Miami proper, you can meet good girls though friends, church, etc.

As far as the clubbing/beach/social scene though, that's a whoooole other story. So many Miami girls are from out of town - having moved there in the hope of landing a modeling contract, most end up taking any work they can get in between shoots, etc. For most it means waiting tables, bartending. For some it means p*rn & stripping.

Girls on the Miami social/club scene are NOT lookin for "nice guys w/ their heads screwed on straight." They're lookin for guys w/ the funds to take care of them, or the professional means to advance their careers.

Seriously, that is BY FAR the worst new car design I have seen in years. I don't care if Toyota is carving out a new division. Who cares if it's new if it looks like THAT. I'm not going to buy something just because it's made by Toyota for crying out loud. That thing is crap any way you look at it. You could not PAY me to be seen in that thing.

I was in Miami last year for a week and had a blast, but the best time I had there was when I went there for New Years 2001. We went through a company VIP Miami, they set us up (4 guys) with dinner reservations at the coolest restaurants then a table at a different bar/club every night. Thats when Red Bull/Mandarin became my drink too!! There were amazingly beautiful girls, but I think RocketBurrito's got a point too about girls on a mission for tha suga daddy.

Because there were four young good looking guys at a table, and when I say 'table' I mean that you buy bottles of alcohol and champagne (usually 2 alcohol bottle and 1 champagne ) minimum. Tabs at the bars would range but avg 1200-1500 a night so the diggers were there in all their glory. The VIP section only lets hot girls in IF!!! they are with a table, so we greased the VIP guy and he would bring sets of girls over to our table and we would decide if they wanted us to join them. Brazilian models, every shade of hotness available. FABULOUS! But many were all about the scene and seemed quite dirty though they looked amazing from the outside. I remember one night when some model yelled to the waiter to bring another bottle of champagne and something better....I was like sorry honey!
All in all it was an experience and the way we did it, I don't think I could ever top Miami like that (or my wallet hasn't wanted to either!) so I haven't gone back. So unless you want to spend OOgles, then your out with the rest looking in. So its mostly filled with old guys and their young hotties trying to make an impression on someone.

Then again Red Star was charging $10 a drink!! And I knew the bartender! I almost told them that we're in Houston, not Miami or NYC!!

    Drew,

And in regard to the foundation, we're using a conventional rebar slab, and we'll have 28 piers, so its going to be a big sucker.
