My new 2003 Uniform...

The silver and blue is very nice.

 

Well, today's update consists of retro style jersey, retro style jersey w/ new font, blue/red jersey w/new font, and blue/red jersey w/francisfan's logo's font. As you can notice on some, I have taken out the old logo and replaced it with francisfan's one. Here's the eye candy.....mmmmmmmmm.......eye candy............







I personally think that the last one look's sharp. I will implement the font from 2 or 4 on the blue/gray once u people tell me which ones you like. As for the boston style jerseys (AKA Old School, AKA circle cut instead of sleaveless) they are coming later this week.

 

The font on the last one looks real good, but the number looks bad, you should keep the number simple.

 

This is for those people who are either to lazy to view francisfan's logo or are uncapable of viewing it:

 

i like the design of the logo alot, but i don't know about the buildings. it doesn't go with our name. what could fit there almost perfectly is the shuttle before it launches. with the booster rockets and whatever. i can't draw it but with the right design it might look sweet.

 

I like the old school logo - try replacing the buildings with a rocket or a launching shuttle like BigM said.

I want to add a Rocket flying through the buildings, but I don't want to take the Rocket's current logo and put it there because when I did that it looked stupid and trying to create a rocket that looked even remotely cool is harder than I thought, but I'm still sketching new ideas on the rocket.

The reason that I put the buildings on the logo is because of the city of Houston, not because of the team name "Rockets".

But what about the colors used on the logo, do they match each other well?

 

The New York city part of me is telling me that I would stay away from a logo that has anything to do with something flying through a building.

 

Not exactly through a build, but swirving between the buildings. You're right though, I'm not too sure how much people would like that idea. I didn't think about that, but maybe some people will take offense to it.

 

By the way...the logo posted just above is very nice...are you considereing submitting it to the front office for their opinion?

 

I think that I may printout a copy and send them a "presentation" on the logo and jerseys that I'm currently in the process of making for the logo. Maybe I'll also make a matching court and other ideas.

 

I like the overall execution of the logo, but as others have mentioned, I would nix the buildings (which resemble nothing of the houston skyline), and add an updated rocket.

Just my 2 cents.

 

You mean that their are no rectangular buildings in Houston that have no windows?<br><br>I've never been to Houston and I'm not going to even guess what buildings are most important to Houstonians.

 

Don't the Sonics do something similar with their logo? The Space Needle and the word Sonics...

Otherwise, I think the logo is nice. I agree that there needs to be a rocket in there somewhere, though.

 

what about putting a rocket on the logo instead of the buildings...then write 'clutch city' in the red border

Rocket's R US...

I like the last design of the four..make one in silver and make one alternate red..change the number..and make it a laker cut..not tanktop..silver could be home..blue away and red for Sunday!!
