My personal wishes: Different logo - if they can match the classic and clean Texans' "bull", that would be awesome. I hated the Texans name but the logo sold me on the team. Different font for the type on the uni's. That crazy jagged type is too busy. More red but blue as the secondary color. No gold or yellow please. Maybe red and blue with gray accents.
Very nice, Rocketeer. Style's very nice, but I'm not sold on the color scheme. I don't think the blue and red solids complement each other. I personally MUCH prefer the red uni you posted last year. I'd like to see the alternate road jerseys in red. Sounds exciting.
I love it and love the curve. I'd like to see different colors though. Anyways, since someone had requested it, here's rocketeer's uniform with a little changes made to it (Oh yeah, my bad to rocketeer if he feels po'd about me jackin and changing his design): Here's Rocketeer's basic one with gray outline on the red stripe. Here's a different colorway for the many people who wanted to see blue/silver. The same as above but w/red lining.
Yeah, I like the blue and gray with red too. Very cool. Still would like a new logo and a new font for the letters/numbers. I think the blue could be the away jerseys and the gray could be home. All you need is a funky Sunday-only like the Astros and we're set!
Just joshing Nugzfan. And I lived in Houston all my life! I just moved to the DC area a couple months ago.
I would rather have a red jersey, with blue highlights. And I don't like the V cut in front. How about a sleveless jersey, with a normal circle collar. I like the logo though, much better than the rocket thing flying around.
I love the silver, infact, I think we should use those as home jerseys instead of white. The Lakers are the only team that uses a colered home jersey, so we would be one of only 2 teams. And silver isn't a color you see too often in the NBA, so we would definately be original.
REAL NICE Rockets R' Us !!! That's exactly what I had in mind when someone suggested it. When I was working on the blue one I was also thinking about outlining it in silver but wasn't sure. I'll post the 3D model with the silver jersey that Rockets R' Us made and I'll post the red one also sometime this week. Keep the suggestions coming and feel free to modify the jersey if you want.
Thanks Rocketeer. All I want is 45% credit though. I'm planning on trying to make a more old school one, w/red & yellow and then making one which is more like the Bodton classic uniform shape.
Jeff, have you seen the logo desinged by FrancisFan here- http://www.geocities.com/cuttinomobley/ under logo desing. It seems to be what you want. Incorporates the old in a newer, fresher look with new lettering. I really like them.
Good Job Man! What happens if we have someone with a really long last name? How do you fit it on the back within the single color?
