Mr. Paul, sir... I'm going to be as nice as possible, but... first of all, can you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, with cherry on top, title your threads accordingly? Please, sir. I ask of you nicely, to do this, so they're easy to find, and people here can either click or ignore properly on things they don't want to know about. Secondly, the reason they have those "pleats" and the top rolled is because they're made from a singular circled piece of paper, so to make them into a cup they make these creases and the fold. It's not to "flare it out" like you say in your OP. I hope I've made this clear. To further illustrate my point, I'd like to reiterate that if you make that cup "wider", it weakens it. Also, the ketchup "cups" I use are plastic and they sit in my ashtray or middle console... because they're from WHATABURGER. I save some to even eat with other restaurants' fries. Lastly, why do you use 2 cups for one fry? Is this a GIANT fry you eat?
