    I care about bribery accusations.

Sadly, a drug addict with an illegal firearm who plead down on tax fraud is what we Californians call a homeless person.

For a rich connected guy, they're an "affluenza victim"

    Remember Conservative Michael Flynn…..

The traitor pleaded guilty and the conservative two tiered system sought to dismiss charges.

Remember how many GOP legislators and GOP presidential candidates are openly talking about pardoning J6 domestic terrorists?

Another conservative two tiered justice system.

People pretend like justice is blind and even but that's nonsense.

Prosecutorial discretion is real, subjective and extremely powerful.

Perhaps his opinion would carry more weight if he cited a few examples. Or communicated that to the trump appointee that presided over the case.

    Other legal experts disagree:

btw, this is the lawyer you are quoting:

You are forgetting that they have different sets of rules for R and D.

Investigating R presidents - bad for the republic!
Investigating D presidents - good good good!

Defending a famous drug addicted adulterer seems fitting for Alan Dershowitz.

Snipes was found guilty on three misdemeanor counts of failing to file federal income tax returns. On April 24, 2008, Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison for willful failure to file federal income tax returns under 26 U.S.C. § 7203. On June 6, 2011, the United States Supreme Court declined to hear Snipes's appeal. Snipes was released from federal prison on April 2, 2013, finishing his period of house arrest on July 19, 2013.

The dude fought the government the whole way. He claimed to be a non-resident alien. There are benefits to taking a plea deal and pleading guilty.

So i used to get people to fill out the 4473s and run them through NICS. Id guess 10%-30% of gun buyers lie on one of those questions.

Nobody GETS ARRESTED for that violation (ok, im sure SOMEBODY has, but it's not really something they are super actively enforcing.) It only gets charged when they are trying to "get you" for something else and they want to ramp up the charges. Its like a free power-up for the prosicutors.

It gets charged quite a bit, but only after they are already taking a hard look at you. Its how they've gone after white supremiscists, for instance, where the have nothing else.

Yeah, I guess it could have been worse if they had the crack and guns images but his lawyer said the laptop was not used as evidence.

It's so hypocritical of Republicans to want Hunter in prison, while defending a crook, tax evader, con, and election denying seditionist traitor would have already been serving time if he hadn't been President. You have Trump's little two-faced Trump puppet Ted Cruz going nuts over what he calls a Sweetheart Deal. He acts like Hunter should be in prison, but Trump is worthy of being President. We know why. Ted Cruz is a criminal too, and was part of the Trump Coup. I hope his sorry lying *ss gets prosecuted too.
