Given the propaganda you spew here daily, I'd say that it's a pretty safe assumption that yes you are a schmuck.

I agree with this. Convicted felons shouldn't have a law license. They shouldn't be able to run for President either.

Hunter Biden’s DC law license suspended after gun conviction in latest blow to first son

    https://nypost.com/2024/06/25/us-ne...r-gun-conviction-in-latest-blow-to-first-son/

    excerpt:

Convicted first son Hunter Biden’s license to practice law in the nation’s capital was suspended Tuesday, exactly two weeks after he was found guilty of lying about his drug use to obtain a firearm.

“The respondent is suspended immediately from the practice of law in the District of Columbia pending resolution of this matter,” the DC Court of Appeals ordered Tuesday.

Last week, the DC Bar’s Office of Disciplinary Counsel filed a notice seeking to suspend the 54-year-old’s law license following the June 11 conviction.

The DC Court of Appeals noted in its order that Hunter’s conviction amounted to “serious crimes” based on the bar association’s rules, which proscribe members from committing felonies or any offenses involving “false swearing, misrepresentation, [or] fraud,” among other breaches.

Until the guilty verdict, Hunter — a graduate of the prestigious Yale Law School — had been seen as a member of the district bar in good standing.

Additionally, the appeals court called on the DC Bar’s Board on Professional Responsibility to “institute a formal proceeding to determine the nature of the offense and whether it involves moral turpitude.”

Hunter Biden laptop liars sold out their country while working for the CIA

Looks like some of the biggest-name Spies Who Lie were active CIA contractors when they pulled their dirty trick of issuing a letter falsely alleging Hunter Biden’s 100% real laptop was a Russian info op.

Just in case you thought the scandal couldn’t get any worse

The names include former CIA chief Mike Morell, who set the whole thing up, prostituting his credibility in hopes of snagging a plum Biden admin gig, and ex-agency inspector general David Buckley.

We only know this thanks to the tireless efforts of Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Mike Turner (R-Ohio), who respectively chair the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees: They brought to light records suggesting that Morell, Buckley and at least two other signers were contractors when they sought to swing the 2020 election for Joe Biden.

We also know, thanks to Jordan and Turner, that the letter itself made major waves inside the CIA, with one official saying, “This frustrates me. I don’t think it is helpful to the Agency in the long run.”

Damn right. It’s one of the biggest — if not the biggest — black eyes in the agency’s history.

A cadre of 51 connected, sleazy insiders conspiring to aid their favored candidate by running an actual disinfo op against the public they’d sworn to inform honestly.

That it was naked partisan politics could not be more apparent.

Morrell, the brains behind the operation, admitted as much to Congress: The Spies Who Lie did it to hand Biden a “talking point” against President Donald Trump.

And he’s dead scared, too, insisting that it’s simply “wrong” to say he was a contractor when he and his fellow shadesters pulled the ugly hustle. (Though, of course, he can’t explain how his name got on the active contractor list.)

So all Americans should be rooting for Jordan, Turner and accountability here.

Spies lying to decide elections is about as dire as threats to democracy get.

Biden’s Family Tells Him to Keep Fighting as They Huddle at Camp David
President Biden is trying to figure out how to tamp down Democratic anxiety after last week’s disastrous debate performance.

    excerpt:

One of the strongest voices imploring Mr. Biden to resist pressure to drop out was his son Hunter Biden, whom the president has long leaned on for advice, said one of the people informed about the discussions, who, like others, spoke on condition of anonymity to share internal deliberations. Hunter Biden wants Americans to see the version of his father that he knows — scrappy and in command of the facts — rather than the stumbling, aging president Americans saw on Thursday night.

Why Cannon’s rejection of special counsel Smith may not help Hunter Biden
Hunter Biden and Donald Trump made completely different arguments as to why the appointments of their special counsels were unconstitutional.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2024/07/16/hunter-biden-trump-special-counsels/

    excerpt:

Biden and Trump made completely different arguments as to why the appointment of their special counsels were unconstitutional. Hunter Biden’s attorneys argued that Justice Department regulations state that a special counsel should be someone who is outside the government, to ensure the investigation is independent. Trump’s lawyers took the opposite approach. They said special counsels must be confirmed by the Senate. Smith was hired from outside the Justice Department and was not confirmed by the Senate. Weiss is also the U.S. attorney for Delaware — a position which requires Senate confirmation.

    ***
If the question of the constitutionality of special counsels reaches the Supreme Court, whatever the justices decide would apply to the entire nation, likely dictating how and when attorneys general can appoint special counsels.

The Florida ruling “certainly does not apply as binding precedent,” said Daniel Richman, a professor at Columbia Law School. “Because it is just one district court, which does not even bind another district court sitting next door. And it certainly doesn’t bind other district courts sitting in another circuits.”

Going Full Trump: Hunter Biden Challenges the Constitutionality of the Weiss Appointment
    by jonathanturley
    July 19, 2024

We previously discussed how Hunter Biden adopted the arguments of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and other gun rights groups to challenge the law that his father has championed as a key gun control reform. In his effort to challenge his various charges, Hunter Biden has gone full Trump. Now, Hunter has adopted the Trump argument that special counsels are unconstitutional in seeking to toss out all of the charges by Special Counsel David Weiss, it is the very argument that Democrats and liberal law professors has denounced as meritless and menacing. Having recently embraced the conservative justices in challenging gun laws, Hunter is now channelling Justice Clarence Thomas on the unconstitutionality of Special Counsel appointments — an argument that his father denounced as wrong and “specious.”

I recently discussed the decision of Judge Aileen Cannon to strike down the Florida case against former President Donald Trump. Law professors ridiculed the concurrence of Justice Thomas in arguing that special counsels lack a constitutional foundation.

Biden is now asking the federal courts to adopt the Thomas position. On Thursday, courts in California and Delaware were asked to dismiss the criminal tax and gun cases against Biden.

The motions track the analysis of Judge Cannon and argue that “the Attorney General relied upon the exact same authority to appoint the Special Counsel in both the Trump and Biden matters, and both appointments are invalid for the same reason.”

I wrote in my column that the challenges seem to draw courts into the Wonderland of Special Counsels.

“Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” the Mad Hatter asks Alice, “Why is a raven like a writing desk?” It turned out that the Mad Hatter had no better idea than Alice.

In her 93-page order, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon seemed to face the same dilemma when she asked special counsel Jack Smith why a private citizen is like a confirmed U.S. attorney.

However, a key difference between Smith and Weiss is that could lead these courts to asking “why is a Weiss like a Smith? The answer is that he is not in a critical respect. Weiss is a Senate confirmed U.S. Attorney where Smith was a private citizen plucked by Merrick Garland for the position.

Biden is seeking to brush over that Mad Hatter anomaly:

“The constitutional flaw at the center of the Special Counsel’s appointment is that Congress has not established the office of a Special Counsel. Given that Congress requires a U.S. Attorney to be nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate, it makes no sense to assume that Congress would allow the Attorney General to unilaterally appoint someone as Special Counsel with equal or greater power than a U.S. Attorney. That is what has been attempted here.”

    Clarence Thomas is beaming.

Maybe you should take some time away from the Biden family. As you've told others about Trump, maybe it would be better to just ignore them?

actually have been baby-sitting a twelve-week old puppy lately and nursing a 16-year old English setter at the same time while sitting through the summer heat wave. Said good-bye to the setter just yesterday, and the puppy is almost big enough in size to go out in the pen with the big dogs. As soon as that happens, it's back to my normal life and I won't be spending quite as much time on the computer as I have this past month or two. So enjoy Biden Mania while you can. :p
