Oh .... now that's interesting. Could Tracy's "camp" possible have put out the report that he may be done for the year as a threat? "Get rid of Artest or else." If there's any truth to that, McGrady will have earned his reputation as a selfish loser 10x over.
i have a question clutch. tracy hasn't complained at all about his knees since he returned and didn't even after the bad game v. milwaukee. why was the MRI ordered then? it's weird.
but in the previous 2 times he took off, he said his knee gave him problems: pain, soreness... he just said he didn't have "confidence" and he has to work on that. not complain about the knee giving him problems.
Wait durvasa, can I ask you what you said. Are you basically saying T-Mac is going to shut it down for the season UNLESS they trade Ron Artest?
Basically I think Clutch is saying that McGrady is going to BS the Rockets some until Artest is gone. There are locker room issues between the two and McGrady will not perform at his peak until he's gone. He's holding out on the team.
I have now achieved the ultimate goal of any ClutchFans member, having Clutch himself post in a thread I created.
the MRI was ordered by McGrady. (He had the MRI because he wanted one. The MRI did not show anything new. -- Jonathan)
I'm just putting that out there as a theory, based on Clutch's comments. I have no idea what the hell is going on. It may not be an overt threat to shut it down, but a subtle threat to be very difficult.
Theres no way McGrady is just tanking it until Artest is traded, his knee is really jacked up, just look at the failed dunk
Well, I'm watchin pre-game and they said that the MRI showed no further damage in his knee than what the last showed. He's sitting out for "precautionary reasons" and they're gonna re evaluate him over the break.
unless tracy's psycho and is willing to embarrass himself to the world just to prove a point. i just think he still has a mental block with that knee.
