Condolences, moes. You were very blessed to have him in your life and for such a long time. Daniel Johnston said, "Life is happy and sad." Today you are sad, but it seems he did so much to make you happy. You're a lucky guy.
Sorry Moes. I saw you mention this in another thread, and I've been praying. I know I don't know you, but you seem like a genuine person, are a rational and intelligent poster, and a valuable resource on this board. I extend my condolences, and am here to provide whatever I can to help you.
Hey bro sorry for your loss man I know your pain and what you are going through cause my Grandma passed away with breast cancer but yea.. Hey bro the Lord is still in Controll! We may not understand the difficult and tough situations we go through in life but brother God is still in controll and is Soverign and arranging everything under His hand. Actually what the Lord Jesus wants is that He wants you to turn your heart to Him. WHat He wants is to gain your heart and fill you with His life! Ask and you shall recieve, knock and the door will be open. Bro He's waiting for you so Seek after Him, He's waiting..
He sounds like a great man. I can relate to how close you are to your grandfather. My condolences, and thoughts to you and your family in such a difficult time.
That sucks man, ill know you'll have your head up, you were talking about the issu in a positive way if that's even possible the past few weeks. Cancer sucks Thoughts and prayers on the way
The greatest tribute to one who has passed on is how much they are missed. You have paid your grandfather a wonderful tribute, and I you will greatly miss him. May God comfort you in your loss.
You and your family are in my prayers. That was a super tribute to your grandfather and mentor. Wealth isn't only gauged in dollars and cents. You, Moes, are wealthy beyond your wildest dreams.
I'm sorry...buddy...easiest thing to do is remember what he taught you and do great things..to make him proud, keep him in your heart even thought he is physically not with you but spiritually he is.I hope that helped.
the words in this thread have been very comforting. Its been a rough day. But reading this thread has cheered me up a bit. My sincerest thanks to everyone. I'm just reading through some of the letters he saved for us grandkids right now. I'm discovering a few things I had forgotten, like how he fought in WW2 in the battle of the bulge and 50% of his squadron suffered casualties. He wrote "War is never good, even though they try to advertise it and glamorize it on TV... war is our greatest tragedy." ain't that the truth. And that's from someone who had to be there, so I'm inclined to believe him. anyway, thanks again. I truly appreciate it.
Moes - I am very saddened by your loss. I also have expierenced my Grandfather Passing and have to say it is very difficult. I really feel for you and myh deepest sympathies go to you and your family.
