my ex-girl got me tix to a lakers-rox game once just for fun. but it wasn't no courtside seats so i'm hella jealous. u got a good girl there.
DUUUUDE!!! Congrats! I wasnt as close as you were but i was the row rite behind bill and clyde! my gf at the time had tix from the company she worked for at the time. The peeps down there suck as far as their enthusiasm for games. i was the only one in my section to get rowdy! plus i got a nice eye full of patti smith's behind! Verr nice!
I was able to high five the Hornets players as they went in and out of the tunnel, and also a few of the Rockets players in the middle of halftime, but just make sure you're not blocking anybody's way or you'll be asked to move. What sucks about courtside is that pretty much no one cheers with you since they're all filthy rich. You can of course still stand up and cheer, but you're gonna get strange looks and grunts from the people behind you who have their asses glued to the seat and get annoyed when you block their view.
I sat behind the bench once too, and I think during the pregame warm up, the players are usually pretty chill and you can talk to them. But I dont think you are allow to touch or talk to them during and they are usually really focus so you dont wanna mess with them.
