My Girlfriend and I Broke Up!

Alright guys.. its been almost a week, so here's the update.

We broke up Monday night, and I refused to talk to her. Finally, after her parents wouldnt stop calling either. I finally called her Thursday morning. I basically told her that it was over and she wouldnt accept it. She said that I would have to tell her this in person. We agreed to meet in person on thurs. night. However, after that, she said that if we broke up that she would kill herself. I took this very seriously. My best friend's cousin, whom I talked to at my friend's house is a counselor and he gave me card. I called him and told him. I followed his advice and had my mom contact both of her parents saying that she was suicidal. He also gave me a number to a crisis hotline. I explained to them the situation and they basically said that her parents are manipulative, she is sick and needs help... they said that I should sever all communication with her and her family. I went out of town and not many people know where I am. My sister checked the answering machine and her mom had called saying I need to bring a pair of sandals and a sweater over "immediately". This is just another stunt to get me to come over and talk to her daughter. I won't do it. This girl needs help. Her problems are not my problems any more. I asked as many people as I could so that I could do the best for both of us. I am happy, and I am sure she will find someone that will be more controllable.

Thanks again guys for all of the help and support. This week has been hell, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have let loose the last two nights and I feel great. Thanks again to all!!!!
