Well, that is assuming he really did "commit a crime". I don't know why but ever since that "ride ride" thread, I am finding it hard to believe this. How did you even get involved? Did your friend convince you or were just as responsible in the planning? Don't have a clear grasp of what happened. I do find the "check out the office for some minor funds" quote quite funny. As SJC mentioned, this might hint that you might not realise this was not the best move in the world. Then again, you might have been ashamed to say what it actually was. I do agree that we need to stop judging a little bit. Yes, he did something very wrong and he should be punished. Definitely not arguing that. He might be very sorry for what he did, though, and it's not wrong to want someone to pray for this. Of course this depends on what your understanding of prayer is.
