My father in law owes me 20 grand and wont return my calls

I love the part where he thinks the economic meltdown is a liberal media plot to get Obama elected.

 

No kidding. The worst part of the whole story is you loaned money to a Republican.

 

Cue forum decorum fatty, who will berate you mercilessly for bringing political stuff into the hangout.

 

This is actually similar to a scam that some con artists run. They will approach you with an investment opportunity, say you put in 5k and you will make 2k on it in a month. So, in a month, the con man gives you 7k. Then he comes back with a better investment later, you give him 10K and he returns 15k back to you..... then at this point he has your trust, then the big one, he asks for 50k and says he can double your money, then, he runs off with it and you never hear from him again.

 

Come on, man. You can do better than that.
