Now if we could just get the whole world to see things our way there would be a lot less fighting.

That's a nice story you made up, it's just not for me. If my husband didn't have the same beliefs in God as I do then I wouldn't have married him, THAT'S JUST ME. Other people can do their things. That's just the way I feel.

I think it was probably the choice of the word "knowing" instead of "believing." As a son of an inter-faith marriage, I'll admit that word choice caught my eye as well. To each their own though :) .

So everyone not of your religion is going to hell, eh?

My my, you are an understanding person, aren't you? Very tolerant of others.

Wow. You can say you wouldn't marry someone that doesn't have the same beliefs as you. That's perfectly understandable. However, to say that some group of people is going to hell because they don't have the same beliefs as you is just moronic.

I actually feel sorry for you. How uncomfortable it must be to live in that tiny little box.

As much as I enjoy being right I feel for the OP. Dada is on target with the proper response though.

Depending on how much contact you have with her parents she may try to lie and say she told them.

You will soon be hearing threats of abortion (if you say you'll be there for the baby). Or if you don't give her a response look for a "complication" that results in the loss of the baby. She will then say you owe it to her to be there for her, as you will get the blame for fakebaby's fakedeath.

If heaven is full of people like you, then I look forward to hell. I guess that's just me.

Ditto. I had no idea no answer was so self righteous.

no_answer, it is not just you. I wouldn't be able to marry a girl that didn't believe in God. She wouldn't have to the same denomination as me.

That's not what many of us are talking about. It's the whole "you're all going to hell if you don't believe what I believe" part.
