Now you're assuming (or suggesting) that everyone in Houston (or those who will move to Houston) should get a car because that's the only option. That's unfeasible. At this point I don't know if you're just anti-rail or anti-mass transit in general. We know you're a "proponent" of BRT, but I get the sense that you'd rather not even support using money on that either. Everyone should just have a car, right?
well, you don't build a 26 lane highway in a city that favors public transportation over individual car ownership.
That's not fair though. We need the highway expansion bc the city has not provided sufficient alternatives for commuting.
