    I am so glad to hear Buford is doing better. I've got an 11 year old lab and a 12 year old chow mix, and I'm on edge about them getting older. Best wishes from Seattle.

    He's been really lazy still, as in really difficult to get up unless we bribe him with a bite of meat. He's gotten up a few times to go to the bathroom and take his meds, but the rest of the time has been spent in the same spot on his blanket. I'm assuming being lethargic is an after effect of the stroke...hopefully he gets some energy back at some point. Last night it stormed here, so that didn't help since he's always been terrified of thunder. When he does get up he's able to move around alright, just slow and a bit shaky.
