You're talking about some people standing in line with you. Sorry man, but after reading your threads and posts on this whole process, I think Major is right; whether you realize it or not, you were never really 'undecided' when it comes to Obama.
More self-righteousness from the liberals. In their view, only liars and the delusional could ever be undecided and choose Hillary.
As a person who never voted for Bill Clinton in the 90s, didn't vote for Senator Clinton in New York, was looking for an alternative to the Clintons, I was undecided and was looking forward to possibly voting for Obama a couple of weeks ago. That all changed going into tuesday's vote. After I voted for Hillary, it just reinforced even more of not going with Obama.
It's amazing that when I talk about Obama and his cult followers, I'm all of a sudden a Liar, don't know what I'm talking about, and an incompetent voter who don't deserve to vote. I'm also accused of exaggerating what I saw at the Democratic caucus. Is this how Texas Democrats act? I thought New York Democrats were pretty crazy but this is ridiculous.
So again I ask, was this an issue for you after 2000? Are you saying there weren't many reports of disenfranchised voters (see Florida), fraud or corruption after the 2000 election? In case I didn't clarify, my post was in response to the following: In 2000, Bush lost the raw voting. The results did not reflect what the majority of the American people decided. Yet you had no issue with that system, which also has many who call it outdated. Now if you want to bash the caucus system for not giving everyone the same chance, or for being confusing as hell then go ahead. But don't harp on it not reflecting the will of the people when Bush got elected in 2000 when the majority of those who voted did not want him....
I'm just saying your first thread read a lot like a "change my mind" thread, which as we all know, is a tall order (for anyone). This thread reads like a "see, my opinion confirmed!" thread, based on some people you met at a caucus. Your trolling isn't as great as you think it is. But at least you're consistent, I guess.
rich you can vote for whoever you want, and in the end i don't care, just don't try to put the way some voters at a caucus acted on obama. that's silly.
It's amazing to me that you are unable to grasp the distinction here. The alleged fraud and disenfranchisement had absolutely nothing to do with the *electoral college* system and everything to do with alleged mismanagement at the local level in the simple voting system. So that invalidates your entire argument. What is your education level, if I may ask, so that I know how to better tailor my posts for your understanding? Thank you. Again you fail, I've already answered this. Furthermore, the electoral college system reflects the will of the people in each individual state. The caucus system doesn't even do that, with Tuesday night in Texas as proof positive. Sorry, but these empty Bush responses as a fall-back simply do not hold water.
You cannot possibly believe that the people that live in your precinct that happened to be caucusing for Obama acted on his or his campaigns orders/wishes. When I was walking by the line of Clinton supporters (roughly 90% of them Hispanic) one girl said that I was turning my back on my people. A lot of them were just looking at me like "WTF?" About 7 times I had people from the other side tell me I was in the wrong line. I said in the other thread what one of her supporters did while the Obama supporters were supposed to be counted. All of this still is not enough for me to have the ridiculous notion that this tiny sampling (131) of Clinton supporters reflect the message of her campaign. I would hope you would have the same sense to be able to separate the two.
Then who told the Obama supporters to try and take all 17 delegates in our district? Why did we have to call a judge to make sure that they didn't get all 17? Why did the Obama camp insist on holding both CHAIR and Secretary positions? Why did Obama supporters try to prevent Hillary supporters from watching the actual count? Were these Obama supporters acting on their own or acting on what they were told?
This means that at 18 or 19 (however old you are) you're displaying a level of maturity far beyond that of someone who is apparently already married and a parent.
You think they were given orders to do those things? And if so, by whom? Did they know the rules of how delegates are appointed before they called for all of them to be awarded to Obama? From what I hear there were problems at pretty much every caucus as most people were new to the process. A lawyer was called to our location because the people running it were so inept and made so many mistakes. Do you think there wasn't any voter intimidation and overall aggressiveness and domination of the caucus by Hillary supporters in other precincts where she was heavily favored?
I bet you the Hillary supporters weren't starting Yes we Can! Fired up ready to go chants! trying to incite the crowd where you were at.
You didn't answer any of my questions. And I do not see what your comment lends credence to. Are you saying you were intimidated by chants? And yes they were chanting "Hill-ah-ry" and had some kids running up and down the sidewalk holding Hillary 08 signs.
