I still maintain that Doc tells all the juicy stuff to Clutch, then just teases us on the BBS out of some sadistic impulse.
aelliott-Could be. I just thought the quote was referring to Yao Ming, but after re-reading, you could be right. Poodle4-Tease is right. Has a whole post mentioning Ming and Dunleavy, he's "discouraged" about the draft, then says he's heard nothing at all concerning the draft. Huh? Right. Interesting though, is he answered the first part of Sherlock's question, and in response to the Kwame Brown part, he simply says "it'll be an interesting offseason".
Goodness gracious great balls of fire. So I wonder with which team we're gonna be trading. Hey, Doc, how bout some more cryptic teasers?
I better put an end to this because this is seriously hysterical. Because he didn't mention Mobley he probably won't be here next year? Admit it... that's funny. I don't think Doc was even trying to be cryptic. I think the juice was talking (or posting multiple times). I think he was just responding to the Rockets huge loss that night and saying we're going to end up with a horibble record and great draft pick, and Ming and Dunleavy are just two players I know he likes. Nothing to this. Like rimbaud said -- we can't possibly know who we're going to draft since we don't know where we will be drafting.
Can someone tell me what legitimate 'scoops' Doc Rocket has provided the BBS? Just wondering, seriously. Links would be cool. I know this isn't necessarily a politically correct thing to ask, but I really would like to know.
don't ask dude is legit. that said, what good are scoops? both popeye and rockHEAD have called more actual events than Doc. Doc is like 0-10 on his "scoops." Maybe he can't tell us when he knows the trutch, so only gives us the crumpled-up papers he finds in CD's trash can. Is Doc really the janitor for CD's office? maybe maybe no can we have a sociological, cryptic analysis of that. If Doc has to protect himself with crypts,,,all fine and dandy, but that Rice trade was Clutch knowing, but totally being held captive by someone...hmmmmm, who could that be.
Here's a good one: http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11261 One week before draft day and all is strangely quiet. The Rockets appear confident still they will trade up, if not soon then on draft day. In fact, it makes more sense to announce a deal on draft day or after the selections are made since announcing a deal now (for say the 6th pick) would give other teams wanting the same player the Rockets do the chance to jump ahead of Houston (by acquiring the 4th or 5th pick for example). One thing seems certain though: The Rockets won't be using all 3 picks (#13, #18 and #23)...
What does that man? Does that mean the rockets are laughing, does that mean we are exactly where we want to be, does it mean that last nights game was only a JOKE or does it mean...
