Tomorrow is 34th birthday, I'm taking the day off, and my wife (along with my 1 year old son) and I are thinking about hitting up places around town for breakfast lunch and dinner (along with other activities) with a night at a hotel room.

This is what I had in mind:
    Breakfast: The Breakfast Klub
Lunch: Tookie's Burgers down in Seabrook
Dinner: Pappas' Bros Steakhouse (no son, going to stay w/grandparents)

Any suggestions on other places to consider? Prefer local establishments.

    Thanks.

Fun fact for you - tomorrow is also Karl Malone's birthday.

I was born the same exact day as Lebron James. Oh what could have been.

That sounds like fun, except for the part about taking your infant kid with you. Why don't you get a babysitter so you can relax and really have some fun? That's what I would do, but hey....to each his own.

Hotel room with wife = fun
Hotel room with wife and 1-year old = not so much

Just kidding (sort of). Have fun!

I'm considering going to Kemah, for a little while (especially if we go to Tookie's as it is just down the street). I'm just worried about the heat. Sweat pebbles appear on my forehead just thinking about it.

We should have a couple hours between dinner and having to pick up my son. I'm hoping to be burning lost of calories then.

Wish I could but the wife said no. Its during the week and anybody she trusts will be working. Except her mother, who's been feeling ill, recently. Like I said, my parents will take him in the evening, so we can a nice dinner and a couple hours to ourselves (whch sadly should be plenty of time).

Lol. He probably wasn't even alive then.

To the OP - you can't go wrong with Pappa Bros. Steakhouse

Stomp's > Tookie's burger-wise, but Tookie's is more charming. So it just depends what you prefer.

But damn man, you're gonna be full. Don't eat anything after 6:00pm the night before.

Thank you for the suggestion, we may go to Stomp's if Tookie's is too busy (time is of the essence). In many ways, it seems very similar and the smaller burger may be what we need, given all the food we are planning on eating tomorrow.

Ah, I missed the part where you said you were dropping him off in the evening.

But yeah, don't eat TOO much. You don't want to be all full and bloated for the "other activities" with the wife........ya savvy?

Gotta have some sushi for lunch if I'm having steak for dinner.

Head to Kata Robata then drinks at 4pm at Anvil.

    Right you are! ;)

OP, let the experienced married guys tell you what's up. She will kick your ass at Wii fencing if you eat too much.

    OP: Stop being sooo cheap!

Go get breakfast at La Madeleine
Lunch at Uchi Houston - Make it light
Dinner at Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse or Brenner's

    ;)
