This part has me confused. Are you implying if the tv was still under warranty the store or manufacturer should warranty your broken tv due to your kids negligence?

Just don't let him play the wii for 2 weeks. He's not too serious, he can still see his friends and do everything else. Maybe a month?

A couple of weeks removed from Wii playing while you and the other son are having a blast should do the trick. :D

Get him an account on Clutchfans and then when he leaves himself logged on, create a thread that announces that he is coming out of the closet. Then proceed to use your own account and dig into him 30-40 times on multiple threads. The cruelty will make him forget what he's being punished for.

Put a big strap on EVERYTHING he uses. Toothbrush, remote controls, phones, lunch box, cups, plates, silverware, toys, keys, books, basketballs, gloves, shoes, etc. Tell him he can't use any of those things unless he wears the strap.

Then do the Deke finger-wag (and elbow, if he's REALLY defiant) whenever you catch him not using the strap.

Your child clearly lacks discipline, focus and a sense of purpose in life. I strongly recommend you talk to him about Jesus.

Your son is a high risk-high reward type of kid.He doesn't have the mental toughness at this age;but the potential is there :D.His careless mishandeling of the wii controller, just proves to me that he needs more time to develop. For now, make him run some sprints with weights attached to his belt.

    sincerely,
    JVG

Give them a regular TV to play the Wii on, that'll show 'em.

No, not at all.....but I could not remember if I bought the extended warranty and whether it was covered or not.

Turns out that it would not have mattered anyway.

But it could not hurt to try.......

    :D
