Well, it helps (obviously, lol)... But as you said, two of the maps are essentially ports. The price should have been 800 points like all other map packs. The CoD4 maps should have been free as a bonus. 1200 is steep for three new maps.
Gotta admit that the new maps bring some life back into the game...even the old cod4 maps are welcome as I didnt have much of a chance to play MW1 because of school...and yes, I did study during school. :grin:
Lies. (Also, not to derail, but the Mucinex hasn't helped at all. I always seem to have bad luck with meds being effective.) Anyway, I do like the new maps, and Crash has always been a favorite.
Played TDM on Overgrown, went 36-5 Played Search and Destroy on crash, went 14-6 Played Headquarters on Overgrown, went 50-5 It felt sooo good to be home!!! New maps are interesting. Dominated those as well, but I noticed a few things. That map where it's raining is awesome. That will be a great map in my opinion, especially on objective modes. The apartment complex is nice, but I can see that becoming a camper's haven once spots are discovered. The small snow map is really interesting, but a bit too linear. I still enjoyed it though.

I really like the raining map too, I think it is called "Storm." I hate headquarters, but I was having a blast playing it on that map. I played it 3 times and got 40+ kills each time. The apartment map is already becoming a corner camping nightmare. I kept getting my ass handed to me, so I switched to my riot shield class. It worked very well and I went 15-4 with the shield. Put those b****es in their place.
If anything is evident, its that I'll tell the truth regardless of consequence. :grin: Sorry about the cough...you may just have to wait it out as prescription cough medications generally arent the way to go because of certain risk factors. I think im in around 2 months and Ive pretty much gotten over it. Rhino, why no love for Bailout?
Too many corners. It's a camping nightmare. Every turn there is a b**** hiding behind something just waiting. It may just be one of those maps where I have to use a riot shield to get through it. I do the same thing on "Derail" another map I hate, although not for the same reasons.
When will the maps become availabe outside just Stimulus selection? I mean when can I play Domination and expect to see these maps instead of just choosing Stimulus?
It depends according to IGN. Maybe a week or 2 if sales are high or maybe not at all. Im sure they will do what they did in COd4. They let it play out this way for about 2 weeks and then they were mixed together
PS3 owners will have it April 30th. Playstation is pushing for April 15th but Microsoft has the 30 day rights to the map pack. I would agree that it sucks but there's really nothing much you can do.
Has anybody heard any uproar over the controversial scene yet? I remember DD telling us that we would surely hear something in the thread about it.
I think he was talking about the story mode. Several people were upset about having to kill innocent people. I think i read where the UK was talking about banning the game. I haven't heard much afterwards.
<br> Ehh, after the initial "oh boy this is fun" you realize the maps aren't that great. The snow one is wayy too small. The apartment complex is wayy too easy to camp. Storm is fun, unless everyone runs into the middle building creating a bunch of 1 kill 1 death situations. Crash is the same as always: get the Marine spawn and you will win. Overgrown is still amazing!!! Man I love that map...
Storm is probably my favorite of the new maps...even though its rainy, the visibility is still high, so I like that. I was worried it would be foggy and dark and difficult to spot out enemies...I also dont like being exposed to thermals that way. But yeah, thats a great map. I actually think I like all 5 maps...Overgrown is my favorite overall...Salvage is my least favorite, but I still enjoy it enough to not mind playing it. I roll with a shotgun primary in that level because of the small little alley ways.
