Why isn't Yao getting more MVP consideration, especially on this board? This team has been in shambles all year with T-Mac, Artest, and Battier in and out all year. Yet we're still number 4 in the uber competitive western conference and the one consistent has been Yao Ming. Its a legit argument to say Yao is having is best season of his career.

how in the world could you think Lebron is overrated? Have you not watched him play much this year? The only knock on him used to be that he can't hit the outside shot - well this year he can, clearly. And his defense is insane

They are contending! They are on their way to the playoffs. Just cause they may not be Championship or Finals bound doesn't mean he can't be the MVP, I mean come on he is the leading scorer and he doesn't even have a consistent 3 point shot.

They know what he is tryin to do and still no one can stop him!!!

    D. Howard is a beast for the Magic
He might not win MVP but he should def be up there in the conversation.

Magic have a slight possibility of being number 1 in the east and HOWARD is the reason

    thats why

LeBron didn't win MVP when he averaged 31-7-7 because his team wasn't elite.

    I still think it's Wade...

If he wasn't there when Shaq joined Miami they woulda definitely got beat by... Dallas???

Then they started losing him to injury after injury, which made them trade Shaq and put him on IR. That resulted in a #2 overall pick.

Now that he is back to full strength they are contending, plus they are in the East for God's sake. If they can't contend without him in the East then he must be MVP.

And yes I'm bringin past seasons to evaluate him this season cause it shows how important he is to this team.

Well you accidentally made a good choice. Even though I chose Wade, Lebron is still a better choice than Kobe.

as much as I don't like LeBron, he'd be my choice.
He might have had some bad games, but he's like the only player who makes his team that much better, and is almost unstoppable.
    LeBron is MVP hands down.

Did you watch the game that I take it inspired your moniker?

Unless its a reference to Clyde. If that's the case, did you watch the Rockets before this year?

I got my man Kobe Bryant....He and the Lakers have the best record in the West.

If the MVP was like it was in the 90s, Kobe would have no shot. The MVP has changed however.

i voted lebron but it could easily go to kobe.. i wouldn't be surprised if he wins it back 2 back.. it's definitely a 2 man race between kobe and lebron.. their respective teams will probably meet in the finals.. whoever wins the championship should be mvp ;)
