First two weeks of the season, top 5 in the MVP race thus far would have to be:

    - James Harden
    - Steph Curry
    - Demarcus Cousins
    - Anthony Davis
    - Chris Bosh

Feels like Lebron won't win it this season, just get the sense that even if that Cavs team comes together, it won't be reliant on Lebron as much as the Heat were the past two seasons.

If you were starting a team right now. An expansion team. And you had the choice of taking anthony davis or lebron james. Who do you take?

    I take Anthony Davis.

The dude is mesmerizing. He is one of the most graceful (well coordinated) big men I have EVER seen. Period. And his length is insane. He's almost got Wilt's length.

Kind of makes you realize just how bad Wilt would have tore up today's league. Considering he was like Davis except taller, longer, bigger hands, better vertical, tougher, and stronger. lol

Jerry Lin had a great game leading the undermanned Lakers to a decisive win over Michael Jordan's team.

Don't sleep on Lin for MVP or perhaps GOAT.

    Thank you for your consideration.

I feel like Harden won't be seriously considered, because the media wants to believe what they want to believe. They've already permanently labeled Harden as a no defense playing flopper. They've already villanized the Rockets (mostly due to Howard leaving LA) All I care about is the Larry O'Brien trophy. The media can't determine that.

With that said, the mvp standings so far are...
    1) Steph Curry- Filling up the stats sheet with points, rebounds, assists and steals.
    2) Steph Curry- Team is actually winning.
    3) Steph Cutry- Media has a hard on for him and the Warriors.

At this point I'd take Anthony Davis over any other player in the league.

He will be the best player in the league this year once he improves his post game even further, it's a shame they might not make the playoffs.

He should also look to work out with Hakeem.

Well Davis most certainly cannot win MVP if the Pelicans don't make the playoffs.

Also not really sure how their organization gets any better. Eric Gordon is sucking all the possibility of improving that team with his massive contract, and they really are horrible at identifying talent in the draft. They lucked into Davis, but before that they really missed on a number of players. Losing their lottery pick this past draft really hurt.

Asking who the MVP is by 6-7 games is ridiculous.

But who has been the most impressive so far for me? Steph Curry, Davis, and Cousins have been the most impressive (in that order).

    Steph Curry - 28/6/7 on 50/40/97. That's just absurd

    Anthony Davis - 24/13/2/4/2. That's just nasty.

    Cousins - 23/11/1.4 on just 30 minutes a game. Per 36, that's 27/13/2. Ugh.

Curry, Davis, Harden, Lowry, and Cousins are your current leaders.

Vucevic is averaging 19/12 on a team nobody cares about. Plus he's a big man, so that makes him even more irrelevant.

Anthony Davis is putting up the highest PER in the history of basketball. If hornets sneak into playoffs, he has to be considered. Ultimately, i think LeBron will push kyrie to the side to make sure cavs get a good seed and he'll win it.

    Curry
    Harden
-Also nominees because they're on teams who will have high seeds.

Don't think you can win MVP missing big chunks of season, so OKC guys are out and likely rose.

These are the realistic candidates, even if a surprise like deron will lead the Nets to a high seed, won't have th e individual stats to overcome these guys.

Boogie Cousins has made me want to watch the Kings.
    WATCH THE KINGS!?!?!
If that does not make you MVP worthy I don't know what does.

They were at one time easily the most fun team to watch.
