Makes sense. Kerr is not a GM. McHale has not been stumping for Harden. I'd like to know the context of this statement. He is basically making a push for Curry as MVP by claiming he cares more about winning than the award.
Anyone who thinks its Harden and no one else is close is a homer. I do think Harden is the leader now but those other guys have very solid arguments too, arguments we would be making without hesitation if Harden was in their situation. It will come down to who playes better the rest of the season.
not really..the argument for harden is better. only way steph had it on lock is if klay missed a chunk of the season
I agree with everyone who says we need to stop obsessing over pushing Harden as MVP, but what about those Curry commercials?
I am more concerned about Harden wilting to physical play I think from here to the end of the season he will receive more physicality WITHOUT THE FOUL CALLS. Also . . .it seems he hits 3's better with a hand in his face When he is open . . . . I worry about it more than with a defender on him Harden needs to step up and show his World Class Heart He is doing great but I think in these next few weeks he will have to be greater I think everyone is coming for him and the Refs will allow any all sorts of Assault and Battery against him Rocket River

Stephen Curry is the fun to watch, splashy PG who appeals to the younger generation that the NBA wants to get. LeBron is THE NBA superstar, THE established best player in the NBA. He's the current face of the league. Westbrook is the flashy, fiery darling of the basketball bloggers. The guy most likely to blow up twitter and vine. And then there's Harden... he isn't super accessible or relatable (but everyone knows his face). His game isn't flashy (but he has flashes). His game is smart, he knows how he's going to get his opponent to lose (It might be a step back instead of a full court dash to a dunk). He doesn't play the fastest (although he'll beat anyone off the dribble). He's not going to string together a few 40 pt games (he'll string together a couple of months of 30 pt games. He's not a marketing dream. he's not going to get the mass retweets and impressions. He's doesn't come with a narrative. But this season he has not only been one of the few best players in the league and he has been the most important player to his team. That should be all that matters. /rant
Daryl Morey I courteously submit that @JHarden13, while only focused on obtaining a win, had a distinguished game 4the @HoustonRockets team this evening
Sekou Smith dropped Harden of course after his first time as #1 without any explanation. Supposedly, Harden is tied with Lebron for 2nd hahah
