I legitimately don't know how Skip Bayless can sleep at night knowing what kind of scumbag **** he says on a day-in, day-out basis. From getting called out on national TV by Terrell Suggs for being a douchebag, to getting called out by Russell Westbrook for LYING about his high school basketball stats, to the regularly asinine, idiotic things he says on a daily basis, his family HAS to be embarrassed by him on some level. What a joke that ESPN trots this guy out there to build strawman arguments every chance they get. **** Skip, and **** ESPN.

I completely agree, She does absolutely nothing for me in the looks department. I'm not saying I date 10's or anything, but we should all have standards. I'm sure she's clean and smells nice tho, that's always a good thing. Exactly. "Best player, best team" is how the Finals MVP has always been voted, and rightfully so, it's only common sense. The regular season MVP shouldn't be wasted on that cop-out way of voting when there are so many more elements to consider. Durant clearly wasn't on the best team last year. There's still hope for Harden. A teams record matters, don't get me wrong. A great record compliments a great player. But you can't just stop there, you have to put a little more effort into your voting standards. How much did that player contribute to that great record? How much did his teammates contribute to that great record? How much adversity did the player make it through? And how good is that players individual stats?
Wish I could swap the Mavericks and Pelicans in terms of playoff seeding. As far as the WC is concerned, the Mavs are by far the least compelling bunch. Would love to see AD in the playoffs.
This is a 2 man race, I'm not sure why anyone else is even mentioned. Well Lebron still deserves to be in the conversation but he won't win. Westbrook has been great but he has absolutely no shot. His team is the 8th seed and that's at best. The MVP isn't coming from a fringe playoff team. Harden and Curry are both deserving candidates, can't really go wrong either way. I'd rather have Harden on my team but I'm biased.

If Harden wrecks all of those talented WC teams and we finish with a 4-1 or 5-0 record... he'll probably catch up and pass Curry. It's going to take a huge effort from him to get it done. That Sunday Showcase vs. Westbrook in particular is really huge. With a massive audience watching, he could really cement his candidacy by outplaying Westbrook and leading us to a win. But he NEEDS to dominate that 5 game stretch on an individual and team level if he wants to win MVP imo. If we go 2-3 and he plays "ok", Curry will win it.
How come they don't let NBA players vote for the MVP award? If anything, they would be the best to determine who the MVP should go to.
Keep in mind the Rockets still have to play for positioning while the Warriors are pretty much done right now. Warriors can cruise their remaining 10 games. Harden still has work to do.

Take Lebron out.... he plays with two all stars in a weak conference. A) Curry is the best player on the best team. B) Harden is the best player on the 2nd best in the west, Howard down 1/3 season, starting power forward down 1/2 season, starting point guard down 1/4 season and playoffs. C) Westbrook putting up silly numbers with their best player out 1/2 the season and playoffs, but barely leading his team to an 8 seed. CONCLUSION: 1) Harden 2) Curry 3) Westbrook 4) Atlanta starting 5 5) Lebron?????????
