Without Yao, our offense is better. Half the time he is not even being double team. He is horrible at getting positioned and he often made bad mistakes. Watch the way he will play against the Lakers. They do not need to double team him. They just put one guy to front him and thats it, its over...

Yes, Yao Ming's 21 points and 12 rebounds in game 3 win, was HORRENDOUS, while Scola's 9/4 in game 1, and 12/5 in game 5 were all MVP performance.

Same advise for you, which I just gave to your "colleague" - never let facts stand in your way.

Houston, where hating on franchise player happens - from Steve Francis, to Tracy McGrady, to Yao Ming, or even back to the old days when Dream was accused of faking injury etc etc.

Yahoo! sports still have Yao listed under the last name of "Ming". I thought Rockets fans might care about their own team and their own players, and facts around them. But no, who am I kidding?

Scola Definitely. I mean, Come on! He stepped it up. I don't see any other Rockets big making those shots. Maybe, Cook but thats it.

Apparently you're just riding Yao's bandwagon and do not understand the basics of basketball.

Scola is the MVP of this series!!! Why? because he is consistent this series and he brings us energy. Yao is terrible this series. He had two good games. Yao is only good for the first 3 quarters. In the fourth, he forces shots, turn the ball over many times, and make plenty of bad decisions.

Yao cannot get positioned when needed and on game 5, we lost that game because of Yao. Our offense was created for Yao but apparently, anyone can front him so....we cannot give him the ball and our offense went downhill.

Scola is a way better defender than Yao. If Yao was the same size as Scola, he will be a horrible player. Scola is far more talented than Yao. Scola picked up all the slacks for Yao and made Yao look good.

I just don't understand why you think Yao deserved the MVP when clearly Scola and Battier saved our asses. For an All star like Yao, his stats in the playoffs is horrible.

Like Okur said, Yao is so easy to guard. He does the same moves over and over again. Anyone can read him.

Scola and Battier deserves the vote, not Yao just because he is an all star.

Internet can help you. ESPN, Yahoo! Sports, NBA, Clutchfans, anywhere you can turn.

Same advice for you and your colleagues - Never let facts stand in your way.

BTW, can you sell me something whatever you are smoking, how to "interpret" 9 points as 19, 12 points as 21?
