Exactly why the media should not get to vote for MVP.

Of course, media narrative dictates MVP outcome, because reporters vote MVP.

Literally all the media does is whine about us whining. They make such a big deal out of it. They’re such whiners.

The media is going to love the Harden Westbrook redemption story. When you start out aa the underdogs, left for dead, and you rise to the top again against all odds, it's good storytelling. It's one of the stronger stories they'll have if it plays out.

Westbrook used to be the darling of the media. Remember the "Westbrook needs more help" narrative? And Harden is their whipping boy.

Now the two are on the same team. The two narratives just annihilate each other. The collective mind explosion would be epic.

ESPN's collection of clowns clearly didn't like getting called out on their BS narrative spinning - Harden not even top 7 in MVP predictions is an absolute LOL

I don't think Dwight and CP3 were ever pampered by the media like Westbrook was.

Media-given award is influenced by media. What a radical statement. How out-there and crazy can this guy get? Clearly, he needs to taken down a few pegs by hundreds of hours of boring, mindless discussion from the talking heads of the media...that vote on this award.

It doesn't matter, though. The Rockets are in championship-or-bust mode. That's all that matters. Lock in, and go make it happen. A ring isn't voted on by the media, and they can't take it away from you.

And the response from media: “If you wouldn’t call us out for creating narratives so much, we’d be nicer to you.”

Numbers are key for ESPN and others to rip that apart. Stop talking.

    I can't wait.

"James gets all those points by flopping."

"If James played in another era, he would not be the player he is today."

The media hates Rockets which is why James is hated so much. I'm grateful that he has never asked for a trade because he would get a lot more love in another city.
