except that Hakeem wasn't eligible at the time to be on the Dream Team - he wasn't an US citizen at the time when the formation of the team and selection process was being made. If I remember right he became a citizen just before the Olympics in 92 and there were rules that prevented players who just became citizens from participating on those countries teams
