How could giving this guy a shot at the vet min be a bad thing? I can understand complaining if he was making a lot of money, but not at the vet min.

Having him around would be a decent option if we were to deal Cato. Or decide to play Cato at PF more often. For that matter, bring him in and if he has something left, make a move. If he doesn't, cut him.

    He wouldn't consider Houston anyway.

If Phoenix, Portland, Dallas and Houston offer him the same deal he wouldn't go to Houston that's for sure.

Me, intelligent? I should sig this. ;)

I'd like to add that although I don't always agree with the premise of your posts, I always enjoy someone who can crank out a well presented argument with backing to it. And it's always useful to have someone on the board who seems to have the CBA memorized. I always have to click Bender's website.

As far as the rest. Eh. I should've explained better. I didn't know Deke was an "official" nickname. I abbreviate his nickname and don't pronounce it as Mike, but the way the beginning of his name is prounounced. Kinda like calling Taylor MoTay instead of ******. I will never refer to him as Deke. Sounds like a spanish speaking kid who learned a new cuss word(and in my Rome, I have to be a little fluent). Ugly. Or perhaps I'm just not hip enough.

    Fo shizzle.

Hey, I've been making fun of that name since I blasted the Kings for taking him as well as the grainy amateur video they showed at the draft of him doing relatively unspectacular things. Little did I know the kings were one of the few on the cutting edge at the time in regards to global scouting.

Let's keep the bbs respectful and free from lewdness. Go Yao Ming! ;)
