OK, I got owned by a troll who doesn't have life. It happens, you can't always keep up with troll. Now, I suggest you actually go back and WATCH the full game for the first time. And see what happened there. Anyone on this board long enough know what you do.
AB behaved much better today because Yao basically told him to stop the nonsense and give the veterans ball after Game 5.
Oooooohhh..that really stings Wrongicon....really...oh wait...nope it doesn't..... So, let's recap...we start with...you were wrong...then...uh, I was right...and basically you whining about it. Yep, recap over. Oh, wait, Wronicon goes on to call me a troll instead of just admitting him being part of the knee jerk mafia about a 2nd year player who has started 34 games total. Woops....but...hey, let's get personal, shall we, because that may deflect the attention off of my Wrongicon status. Wrong....wrong...WRONGICON !!!! DD
Yeah....another kid that is past his bedtime. Can you spell? And Kawins, don't jump into a mess that he has coming. If Michecon is going to be an arse, which he has been, then he has to learn to take it when he becomes part of the problem in the GARM. Look at the end of the day, Brooks did his job.....he is a 2nd year player that is learning as he goes......be happy we have him, he will get better. Stop whining about his bad games, they are going to happen...he is a young PG.... DD
LOL. You didn't watch the game, did you? You didn't read news, did you? Oh, I forgot, you're just a troll.
Come on. They guy you want to get rid of in favor of AB, Ron Artest, played 10 times bigger role than AB in the win. Props to AB for dribbling less though, and he had a good 4th quarter, scored some points with the defense loose on him.
Yeah, kid..that is what it is all about....name calling instead of understanding. Hey, when you get out of junior high and can actually type instead of just text from a telephone, and maybe you actually play the game and learn how to play it, then maybe you will have some salient points about what is going on in the organization or out on the floor. Because right now, you just look like a gravy training, know nothing, little punk who is upset that his buddy was proven to be a knee jerk reactionary. I get it, sometimes it hurts when you find out your friends really have no clue about something they expouse to knowing....it is ok.....if you shut up, and pay attention to some of the seasoned posters on here, you might actually learn the game and contribute to the good of the community. I hope that happens, it would make you better..and hey, then you might actually be contributing here instead of just taking up bandwidth. ROXORZ PWNED ! I leave this thread content in knowing that AB played his role as prescribed by the organization and coaches.........as I said he was ....... DD- FTW ! DD
Anyone who actually watched know we played better because: 1. AB gave up excess dribbling. 2. AB pass the ball early and initiated the offense early 3. Ron get into offense 4. Lowry and the bench did a fantastic job in the 2nd. not because Ron and Shane should cutting/following AB to the hoop, when he penetrates senseless stuff.
Wow, amazing! Out of the full 7 paragraphs, you still didn't write a thing about, oh I forgot, basketball! If you believe Brooks learned to play better by himself, not because Yao demanded him to dribble less, you are pretty much on crack and lost credit altogether no matter what you said here.
DD is right on this one. There are alot of pessimists on this board who have unrealistic expectations of Brooks. Brooks is playing exactly how Morey/Adelman want him too, which is to attack and be aggresive. I for one, don't miss Rafer at all. I disagree with almost everything said in this thread.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- that's exactly what AB has been good at, piling up his stats when the game is already a done deal and the opponents stops caring
DaDakota, The people who are fans of Brooks don't even agree with you. I like Brooks better than many PGs we have had recently and I know he is still learning but Brooks was close to costing us the game last night. If you can't see the difference when Lowry was in last night, you are in serious denial. Is it just one game or is it one more game in the many games that proves he is not (quite yet) a PG? Btw, Lowry is also just a 2 yr guy and he is doing fine as a PG.
Lowry is a 3rd year guy, and he shot 1-6 last night, but yes, he is a nice addition. I like both our PGs.....they provide a different look, when Brooks is in, we need his offensive aggression and scoring threat to make people punish for paying too much attention to Yao. When Lowry is in, the 2nd unit needs his better play making to set the table for all of them to help make the team successful. I am sorry, I got a little out of hand last night, wine will do that, but the fact remains that Brooks is a 2nd year player who has started about 35 games total, and he is doing EXACTLY what the coaches are telling him to do. Let's just all get some perspective and realize that he is going to have growing pains......sometimes it is going to be ugly, sometimes beautiful, but the chances of him turning out to be a long time starter are better with each playoff success. DD
Nice signature. Do you want people to call you an idiot and ruin the forum? You're as big a problem here as the YOF's.
Yes it was a nice win, Brooks played well, he complemented Artest who dragged the team to the first playoff win in 12 years in case you didn't notice. That's why it's annoying that, seeing this thread, you took the opportunity of the Rockets first playoff win in years to act like a petty b**** arguing with people in GARM over your silly BBS pride until 3 in the morning. Come on man it's the first time since I was in college that this has happened. Give it a rest for a day and forget your ego for a bit.
I am happy they won, and ecstatic that Ron played well, but I would like these knee jerk threads to go away..... Wouldn't you? DD
