DD you drink 2 much... Like you said 2 days ago 'AB just had a bad game', so today he just have a OK game...
Oh I quoted, just admit that you were wrong, and move on....this thread is an embarassment to anyone who knows anything about basketball. Brooks played great and in control, which he should do...he is learning....on the job.... Young players are going to be up and down, but at the end of the day, Brooks is better than Rafer....which is all that matters. DD
seriously, I fell sorry for you. I believe...it's time for you to cash in on a cheer leading thread. good night.
You were wrong and can't admit it.......Fine.......you don't get basketball, no problem. EXPOSED !! It is ok to be wrong Michecon....just admit it.... Run run run as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the michecon man ! DD
This is rep-worthy. michecon, you just got DaDa'd! I can understand the concerns over Brooks but michecon's way of expressing his concerns are too over the top given Brooks' lack of experience. I do think Lowry is the better PG but I haven't given up on Brooks being a solid contributor in some way or another down the line.
I was actually surprised that given how well Lowry played in the first half, Adelman went with Brooks for the entire third quarter. But I guess that's why he's the coach, and Brooks paid back Adelman's trust by coming up big. That said, I think Brooks' good play in the second half had a lot to do with Artest. Once Artest got his offense going, it took some of the pressure off Brooks, and he was able to play his game.
once again: if you have a brain and a face stop embarrassing yourself. 1. He passed the ball more, passed it earlier, isn't that what I suggested? 2. He plays better in non-pressure situation. The game turned when Lowry was in control. Rick put in Lowry with AB to have extra control in the backcourt in the 4th. 3. He played a better game tonight. Congratulations. 4. There's a lot less dribbling, he holds ball a lot less. 5. If anyone played big, it's Ron, and Shane, you absolutely dogged on. Check what you said yourself. 6. I know you would come in here, and go pimp your peptalk thread. That's you. It doesn't surprise me. 7. seriously, you sound like a troll. Shouldn't you Go drunk cerebrating somewhere? 8. Yao Ming put his foot down ~~~~~~~ game 6: AB 31:47 , K. Lowry 20:55 game 5: A. Brooks 34:38 K. Lowry 13:34 any other questions?
I would agree with you on that, I'm not a Rafer fan from beginning, and I do hope AB would be more mature, and control the flow of team offense I do watch Rafer playing today, he plays better than AB, AB still has long way to go... I have high expection of AB, but he does not meet my expection yet...and he need to play team ball...that's my major concern... Ron do have a great game, finally has something going...even he's still 1-2 steps slower than A.Roy... Even we can't beat LA, but Go rockets
^^^^^ Nope, you said, take the ball out of his hands. Which was 100% wrong....let him grow, the team will be fine. If you understood a lick of basketball you would understand what the team is trying to do, but you don't and it is obvious. Keep trying to deflect, but you sir, got PWNED ! Maybe you should change your name to Moronicon ! DD
michecon, You make a lot of valid points about Brooks. My only suggestion would be to tone down the way you express your concerns. Since about 4 games after Lowry got here, I've been convinced that he is our future PG, short of any other acquistions. Lowry continues to impress me more and more every time I see him play. He does just about everything better than Brooks other than shoot the long ball. Defensively, running the offense, drawing fouls, rebounding, entry passes, etc... Brooks has looked very shaky more often that not and is not starting material at this point. Unless he pulls a rabbit out of his hat, his best-case scenario in this league is a scoring PG off the bench. I. Am. Just. Happy. We. Are. Moving. In. A. New. Direction. I. Couldn't. Take. Many. More. Rafer. Alston. Bricks.
LOL - keep it up, you have been exposed, you were 100% wrong, just admit it and move on.... The team won, be happy.....you were wrong, you made the wrong call, you didn't understand what the team was doing, and you overreacted to one bad game. Hey it happens....big deal, you were wrong....just admit it. My life Rocks....does....yours? Wrongicon. DD
Can you read? I didn't say, bench him, don't let him play, bash him, don't let him shoot, don't let him pass, I said take ball out of hands. And read on for finer points.
I can read fine, can you write? Taking the ball out of his hands was wrong, just admit it, he ran the team fine, they did exactly what I said they should do.....dude, you got served. You were wrong. Wrongicons of the world Unite !!! Just admit it, you were wrong.. Wrongicon !!!! DD
you know Rafer was 8/16, 21/10, maybe you should troll on how you always loved Rafer? I'll say this, if in two years, AB is getting all star talk, I won't post anything again.
Wah, WAH...WAH !!!!!!! You got owned...you have no clue about the game of basketball and what the organization is trying to do with Brooks. You overeacted to a bad game in a hostile environment, then you could not admit you were wrong. You sir....got owned. Maybe you should spend less time whining and more time playing or learning about the game so that when you start knee jerk threads at least they are competent, becuase this one was 100% wrong..... This board should be so lucky ! DD
"Wrongicon!" Lol, DD. Lowry and the second unit were phenomenal in the second quarter. The starters were playing tight when they came in and just took charge of the game. The way Lowry drove into the lane and found the open man, took two charges and hit a 3-pointer, the way Landry got rebound after rebound...it was simply beautiful to watch. Lowry keyed the first half, while Brooks followed up with a great third quarter. Our PG tandem really grew up tonight.
