    ^^^By all accounts, it should have been the Astros in that Series.

    I had a bottle of champagne sitting on my lap during game six and was ready to pop the top. When the Astros lost that game, I put the bottle back in the fridge and never touched it again. I think it stayed in the fridge for two years before I could throw it awa

    you know winning Game 6 would not have won the NLCS for us, right? it just meant we'd have a Game 7...with Scott on the mound!

    Game 6 would have won the NLCS, because Mike Scott was simply unhittable that year. And the Mets were scared to death of him, he had them beaten before they took the field.

    Awesome video, btw. Must have taken alot of work to sync that up!

    So was Dave Smith until that last inning. Don't get me wrong, we had a great chance of winning game 7 if we had pulled it off. We had a BETTER chance of winning with Smith on the mound up 3 in the 9th.

    I think a little piece of my youth died that day. After that game I started to become cynical watching sports.

    he was on bobby valentines team. his team taht he thought could beat the white sox in a REAL WORLD series.
