    That is what I thought.
One suggestion, after you use the software to translate what you write in Chinese to English, read the translation a bit. And then read what people post here. I think you will learn a lot of English easily that way.
I am not saying everyone on the Earth should speak English, but it is so easy compared with many other languages, including Chinese. It takes little to learn it enough to enjoy the forum and Rox games better.

That phrase just about sums up Francis in a nutshell.

µÀ±ö˹008, seems to call it like he sees it.

Just a warning to you, 008. The moderators of this board discourage people from posting many times in the same thread over and over, because of the cost of maintaining the website. It is privately owned, and the owner (Clutch) makes no money running the site. It is important to write high quality things, not just many short statements.

However, I think it's clear that you really understand the game of basketball and the current state of the Rockets. And it's also clear you have the best interests of the team in mind, not just Yao Ming. I really appreciate your insights.

Don't worry about using a translator, most people here certainly can't speak or write Chinese, and that doesn't make your insights any less important. Like others have mentioned, we can understand what you're saying most of the time.

    Welcome to the board!

its good to see that after the first few...no one gave him too hard a time about the language.

because, it has actually gotten easier to read through the length of the thread.

keep trying 008...you are doing much better.

    and welcome.

This is off topic. I do think he already tried to make the babblefished english more readable, who knows maybe he has tried his best.

If he just used a software to translate whatever he wrote into english without improving it manually thereafter, then I am really impressed by this software. What's the name of this software? I have never heard of any chinese-english translator that could work so well.

WOW! I did some comparison just now between BabelFish and netat.net. The translation of netat totally blows that of babelfish away! It does seem that netat.net is capable of translating average daily chinese sentences into readable english!

I highly recommend it to those who want to read SINA but do not know chinese.

He's either the most sophisticated troll we've ever had, or he's 100 percent legitimate, because the IP checks out.

i do think he is legit. but just a little weird for some 23 years old to talk this way ( i would think he's teenager before i check his profile) and has such poor english. i assume that anyone go through the college education in china could use english better.

one thing interesting though. his id is Dobbins008. and google reveals that there was a black bball player in yao's shanghai dongfang shark team. he played with yao in both '99 and '00. I guess this is where he got his nick from.

and if he is legit. then this kid was so excited that he did not sleep at all the whole night ( last time i checked it's already chinese time 6'clock in the morning and he is still here).

The put back after a Yao miss in the Toronto game to name just 1 of many crucial baskets. He's trying hard to get Yao the ball.....A lot better job than last year and be even better next year. From what I've seen so far, SF3 is very supportive of Yao contrary to opposing broadcasters who keep asking could they exist together.

Recall when he was suspended for 1 game, the Rox lost miserably in that one.

I think if people watching future Rox game will consciously give SF3 credit for good plays, they may learn to like him.

Agreed! But this is not what the critics contention is.
The critics are against Francis not because thy don't like him, its because they just don't see his game and Yao Mings game being compatitable in the long run and that the Rockets might spend many seasons trying to achieve an impossible goal while never realy developing Yao Ming to his full potential.
