Torque, do you approve of making special laws that only apply to one group of people?

Even when only an incredibly small percentage of that population engage in unlawful activities?

it absolutely is discrimination. you can make a case if you wish that its justified. i think thats bogus but to say its not discrimination is not knowing the definition of the word.

I think the irony lost in all of this is how 'progressive, enlightened, secular' European countries like Germany, Holland, France, and others are dealing with their minorities, all the while criticizing the U.S. for its actions/rhetoric/etc in the 'war on terror'.

Hmm, where did that 'tolerant' spirit go, I wonder?

Yes, if necessary. Because even though only a small percentage, there is more than what meets the eye. It is not only Muslims blowing themselves up. It is them helping to funnel money back to terrorist orginizations using a legitimate business as a front. It is them spreading the message of hate towards western culture. Of course, most Muslims are law abiding, peaceful and intelligent people. Like arno said, these dissenting Muslims aren't even real Muslims, their actions go completely against their faith. But what does occur is these "Muslims" in Europe both funding terrorist operations, supporting terrorist operations, or carrying out terrorist operations. It must be ensured that these people do not live in European countries. (or do not live at all...but thats a different thing)

So if you believe one set of laws should be made for one group that doesn't apply to other groups then it is discriminating.

I am aware of the funding, securing false id's etc. Including that it is still only a very small percentage of the Muslim population that is involved.

If loyalty to a country is a concern why not ask everyone to take the test? Everyone taking the test would certainly include Muslims but it would also include others who might be a threat.

I think it's a good idea to run that sort of test, just do it for everyone.
