If you're serious....then I have to appreciate the boldness of sharing your true feelings. People shouldn't bash you because of your opinion. Some will call you ignorant, some evil, some a nazi. Not to say your thinking is valid - I strong disagree with it. But - I don't think people should be bashed for their opinions. That's the world of PC - which I detest. If people bash this - then it never gets expressed - it never gets out into the open. Instead of bemoaning this kind of thinking, we should be welcoming the honesty and courage. Instead of condemning - we should be engaging. Attack now, and a 100 like this guy will never say anything. Instead, debate the merits of what he says. Seriously consider why it's wrong to force Muslims to wear a cresent moon. The reason is this: America was a state created to prevent persecution of any kind based on ones beliefs. No other explanation need be given. No attack. no signs of disgust. No comparisons. End of story....
Why is it wrong? Well for starters it goes against the Constitution. Now I know some think the Constituion is just a worthless piece of paper, but I kind of hope it will catch its second wind and make a comeback.
Hitler: Kill the Jews! NewYorker: I really respect your courage for expressing your opinion. We really need to stop bashing Hitler, guys. I really hate that PC crap! Now, I may disagree with your logic, but you're really just awesome for saying something that will bring completely warrentless accusations of ignorance and hatred. Major props, Hitler. Major props. There is a reason why this type of hate speech needs to be condemned and shunned. If there are 100 people like this guy waiting in the wings, do you really want them coming out and congregating with others like them? Any word of encouragement is just licence for these people to continue spewing hate. It has nothing to do with political correctness. It's about hatred, pure and simple.
Is it becoming more difficult to tell Muslims from regular humans now? What happens if a guy converts? Would he get the symbol removed? How hard do you think it is for a terrorist to lie about something like that so that they're not identified easily? Which begs the question... Is this about all Muslims or about terrorists who associate themselves with Islam? both? Why? There's really no good reason to do this unless for some odd reason, they decided to do it for everyone. Ironic fact: tattoos are forbidden in Islam.
