Flag Burning < Holy Book Burning, imo

Maybe you should have a rally to burn flags of countries that is majority Muslim. See what happens? Personally, I know I wouldn't be upset if you burned Iranian flag.

If you have a copy of the Quran that is falling apart, aren't you supposed to burn it anyways, rather than throwing it away?

They can burn all the flags and Bibles they want, so far as I'm concerned. They can even make an effigy of me -- I'll donate a few strands of my own hair for it -- and they can burn that. What does it matter?

Well, they seem to think it's a big deal to burn the Quran only.

I don't think Americans should play with fire. Let those other silly countries do it.

I remember reading about a factory in Gaza that made American and Israeli flags-- mostly for burnings.

Unfortuantely, countries don't get a share of the profits. Doesn't quite work like the NBA. :)

You can't impose American rationalization on them. Most American don't care enough if they burn the Bible or the American flag to start a war however they do if we burn their book. That's it, really. I mean, to think like, "We didn't actually burn your book so why are you burning our flag? So, I'm gonna bomb your city," sounds so childish.

You're saying the Qu'ran is not = to the american flag, then why did they burn it?

Allowing this double standard is further evidence to the extremists that terrorism is effective

Yes every religion except Islam believes it's message is less important than that of a particular nation which should always take precedence.
