I tried to get my phone to read the tag sign the guy was holding over his head but it couldn't do it.
He's not at all insignificant. If you're commenting on why he wasn't the centerpiece of the song its because he wasn't supposed to be. Here's the scoop: Stephen Colbert sold a painting of his for $26,000 with the money going to donorschoose.org. He then went on his show and promised that Jimmy Fallon was matching that donation since they were bffsm (best friends for six months). Fallon knew nothing of this and Colbert said what kind of friend could he be if he couldn't donate his friends money without their knowledge. Fallon then said on his show he would raise the money and if they could match it, Colbert would come and sing "Friday" on his show, Stephen never said he would but Fallon promised it anyway under the premise of them being bffsm. The money was raised so Colbert came on the show and did this EPIC rendition with Fallon, The Roots and Taylor Hicks.
What this whole Rebecca Black Friday thing teaches is that the opposite of love really isn't hate and that success isn't just defined by how many people love you but also how many people hate you.
icymi @Jugdish strikes again in the Photoshop the Season thread, with creepy mashup of Rebecca Black and a Morey Friday Blockbuster.
