Caught them last night. Not their best performance, IMO. Still.... it's Built to Spill. Awesome show.
this next month is bizarre... tomorrow night Shreveport, LA for Junius, And you Will Know Us By The Trail of The Dead. I'm supposed to audition/jam with The Calm Blue Sea(hopefully) in Austin later in November... My Education and at the end of November, I have 3 shows in Michigan/Ohio/Indiana lined up...tentatively. show promoter extraordinare... now if I could just get Inner Lights to sign on for a few gigs...
Nitzer Ebb @ Numbers Nov.26 Was shocked last time they came to town, sounded as good as ever, have not aged one bit.
Had planned on going to Ghostland tomorrow at Warehouse Live, but was surprised to find that it was sold out. I've seen them 4 times already, but they always put on a great show for anyone lucky enough to have gotten tickets. Next show planned is Of Montreal next Thursday at #'s.
Yeah I had planned on going to see Ghostland get his Navajo Half Brother shine on, but when somebody gives you an Interpol ticket... you don't pass that up.
I would definitely pass it up unless the person who gave me the ticket was a woman with bodacious tatas.
Did they play all material from their new album only? I could imagine the show being a drag if that was the case and I'm a huge Interpol fan.
I saw Leonard Cohen play for over three incredible hours last night. See him if you can. He's amazing. Tonight I am off to see Paul Weller.
