Think we're gonna see us some GWAR at House of Blues soon. I wonder if Elwood knows how they treat a venue. "HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW, BABY?"
guess i'm not the only one. but really, not trying to pick a fight, just curious as i find them monotonous.
Not at all. I had a friend show me a song the other day. It was very forgetful. Not my cup of tea, I suppose.
Agreed. I mean, it's alright, but everyone keeps acting like it's the best thing since the best thing, telling me I'd like it, but every time i check it out I'm like ... Just not my bag, I guess.
I didn't become a fan of The National until this year, when High Violet came out. I really really love that album, and because of it I'm now going back and getting familiar with their earlier work. I just enjoy the music and feel that I can relate to it pretty well. Yeah some of their lyrics can be a bit of a downer, but sometimes that is what speaks to people. Their songs feel very honest to me and I think that's what I like about them the most. Maybe they're just not your thing. I feel that same 'meh' when I hear people raving about Interpol and The Walkmen. Or even Dirty Projectors. Just not my cup of tea.
i'm terrible at explaining why i like certain music. i dig the dude's voice and stage presence. they rock a lot harder live than on their studio stuff as well.
Chayanne in December. Yeah, I admit it, I like the guy's singing and the show he puts on. Actually suprised Mrs. SwoLy with tickets to this on her birthday last month .
In all due respect this is an idiotic question especially for someone like you who listens to alot of music. It is like me asking your son why he likes Justin Bieber. There is no right answer. There will never be an right answer.
