August 7th- Houston Press Awards Showcase (Probably only seeing Matt and Kim and Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights)
October 7th- Vampire Weekend with Beach House and the Very Best (Verizon Wireless Theater)
October 8th-10th- Austin City Limits Music Festival (Possibly)
October 27th- Jonsi (Verizon Wireless Theater)
    October 29th-31st- Voodoo Fest

Sometime in October- Gorillaz if they come to Houston. And if Arcade Fire announces a tour I'd want to make that too.

So in otherwords, October will be the best month ever.

I've seen LCD twice this year and they were amazing both times. If you have the chance do not miss seeing them.

On the other hand, Sleigh Bells was absolutely awful. You could not pay me enough to see that train wreck again. Literally painful to the ears. And I actually liked their singles before I saw them live.

I'm dying to see LCD but they skipped Houston last time they came through Houston. I'm hoping for ACL now but I don't know if I'll be able to go to that

I was thinking about heading out. I usually don't go downtown on Friday's, but I'm up for seeing some live music.

I'll be catching Matt and Kim and Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights at this. I don't think I'll end up catching anyone else though.

Was going to go to Gorillaz, but 100 dollars for decent seats? **** that.

I'm hoping Arcade Fire comes through here this year. I mean, damn, the new album is about growing up in Houston. I'd sell my Vampire Weekend tickets even if I needed to to get a seat. Also hoping the LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip tour makes it around here. Or LCD gets added to Voodoo Fest. That'd be even better.

I will also be checking out the Houston Press Awards on Aug 7 on Washington; mainly to see Matt and Kim.

Also, guess this is late, but I saw MXPX on July 18 @ Wasted Space/Hard Rock in Vegas. Sweet show - could be one of their last.

I saw Matt & Kim at the Siren Festival in Coney Island a few weeks back, they are entertaining. Good performance. Oh, and Kim, she's jacked, some seriously muscular arms....
