Free press Summer Fest Saturday, can't wait I've been looking for tickets for weeks. I hoped they'd get cheaper as it got closer but they've only gone up (Its gone from 80 bucks a ticket to like 115 on stubhub). Don't have the money for that. I wanted to see them so badly. They should have played a bigger venue, they are apparently much bigger than I thought They better, but I doubt they do. Sigh. And they are touring with Spoon too, that'd be awesome. Why did they skip Houston? Annoys me a ton.
Pixies announce 11 dates to tour the 20th anniversary of 'Doolittle' in North America starting September. Same week as Rush if you see them in Texas. I got my tix and am going. Is there a reason I shouldn't post a "widget" related to this from the site? Can't think of one, so here it is. Definitely going to get tickets to the Pixies show on the 22nd. I have seen them a couple of times and they are still great live
its weird to me that they have been touring for a few years now and dont want to put out any new music. its safe to assume for me at least that it would probably suck so they are just going to stick to there old stuff. instead of cashing in like most people i guess thats a good thing.
Iron maiden this Friday and the pixies in Austin on the 22nd. Hell yeah. Can't wait to see the pixies again.

Just found out Janelle Monae is playing a free acoustic show Sunday at Cactus Music. I don't know how they got her, but I'm totally going to try to make it to that. Her new album is great.
I missed Nas yesterday! I'll be going to the Mayer concert in September. Still trying to find Aventura tickets for July 1st.
I think that they really don't get along so going to the studio is a major challenge. This is all for the $$$$$$$$$ and I have no issues with that. Frank and Kim still sound the same as they did in the 80's
