naawm that's actually not that bad. Once the sun goes down, being out on the hill is just airy enough to feel decent even if it is 90-something degrees out there.

hell, I expect the Maiden show on Jun 11 to be far worse. That is the show I am targeting as my rehab goal...if I can handle the Maiden show on the 11th, I am recovered enough .

Arcade Fire released some headlining dates today but the closest they are getting to here is Atlanta. Hopefully more dates are to come.

Thanks for that. Saw them last at the Engine Room by chance and loved it. Been a fan ever since. Will definitely try to be there. Think I may be at the Melvins show this weekend to see a good friend and his band play the inside stage.

Looks like TOADIES are playing in New Braunfels of all places on 8/27 at something called "Dia De Los Toadies". Think I might try to make that; it's been a while.

I'm selling one for $60, if you're interested. I'll use it for beer at the show, lol.

Delta's new album comes out on 6/8. heard some of it and it sounds to be just as good as the first.

One of the few bands that have really disappointed me seeing them live have been The National. Their live shows are pretty miserable b/c they rarely recreate the sound of their album. Something just doesn't groove well when they aren't in a studio.

I've seen them live 3 times. That being said, I probably would still attend their show, b/c I'm a huge fan of theirs, and the new album is outstanding. Really cool to see a band of this caliber visit Houston. Only if I were in town.

Are these guys playing the main room or side room at HOB? I saw them a few years back at Walters on Washington. Yeasayer opened for them. The venue capacity is only about 200 people at Walter's and the show wasn't even sold out. It was an great show though.

It's going to be in the main room. They'll be losing money if they did it in that small room. I saw them at ACL 2008 and they had a huge crowd watching them play.

I wish I had heard about them when they were at Walter's!
