A bunch of mash-ups I downloaded from 99x in GA. "Rapture Riders" (Doors vs. Blondie), "Boulevard of Broken Songs" (Green Day vs. Oasis vs. Travis), etc.

Also Matisyahu's "Live At Stubbs", Sufjan's "Illinoise", the album by the Editors, and Nina Simone's "Anthology".

Oh, and all the John Digweed "Transitions" podcasts from the past 4 months.

I've heard those before. I don't really get it. The songs sound alike, we got it. No reason to screw both of them up.

Seriously now, who isn't listening to this album. Michigan and Illinois absolutely blow me away. That dude needs to play in Texas soon.

im a casual mojave 3 fan. i dont own any of their albums. i love slowdive and i guess for me mojave 3 is like seeing an ex-girlfriend with another dude.

i had heard for years how great pygmallion was but i never heard it. they just reissued all 3 of their records w/ extra tracks and i had to pay $25 for pygmallion, as it was an import. well worth it though.

the new lips definately isnt near the last two records in terms of quality. i actually didnt like it the first couple listens, but its catching on. its some of their most "rockin" stuff since clouds taste metallic. there are alot of really cringe worthy lyrics though.

loose fur is pretty cool - ive been listening to that alot - any fans of wilco should check it out.

Masta Killa - No Said Date
D.J. Muggs vs. GZA - Grandmasters
    Amalia Rodriques - best of
Old Crow Medicine Show - O.C.M.S.
Islands - Return to the Sea
Unrest - Imperial f.f.r.r. (still as boring as ever)
    Some Brigitte Fontaine record

haha - i used to be a big unrest fan, but i never liked that one either. overall, they didnt really hold up for me over the years, but i still think that isabel ep has some really good songs.

i actually was listening to some records the other day and pulled out air miami - me me me, which had 2 out of 3 unresters and i was very pleasantly suprised.

great live band too (unrest, that is)!

Wow! If I still lived in Houston I would so be there. I saw a documentary about him last year that was fascinating without turning him into a total freakshow. He's a real talent.

    Here's my playlist:

"Love Travels at Illegal Speeds" -Graham Coxon
"At War with the Mystics" -Flaming Lips
    "Broken Toy Soldiers" -The Raconteurs
"The Classic Collection" -Blind Willie McTell
    "Front Parlour Ballads" -Richard Thompson
