I love Beefheart; I will own all of his studio albums some day. And that really isn't a lot since he had 12, now if I say that about Frank Zappa, well...

well then, I don't like this song anymore. ;)

(the knife is good, for some weird reason, her voice reminds me of Chino Moreno)

I made through the entire HBO 25th Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame show.
Some of it is fantastic and some of it sucked ... and not who you'd think.

Bad: Jagger and U2, Buddy Guy (Jeff Beck), Sting singing People Get Ready

Great: Sting with Stevie Wonder, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Art Garfunkle
    Sam Moore (with Bruce)

Low Point: Bruce and Billy Joel's New York State Of Mind

High Points: Jeff Beck's instrumental version of A Day In The Life

Tom Morellos's lead on Old Tom Joad

I'm a big fan of The Knife and any work that Karen Dreijer does. I fell in love with her sound when she sang on this Royksopp track from their album in 2005.

The Knife/Fever Ray rarely tour Stateside though. If they do they would basically make one stop in NYC and that's about it. They are a very European band.

    Antlers - Hospice

The more I listen to this the more it grows on me. I feel like it will be one of those albums whose legacy just keeps growing over time.
